@ljubezenj powerfull is a bit streched term, they are all good but never again there will be such dominant teams and players in croatia,serbia and slovenia. trophies that croatia and serbia won since independence were creation from yugoslav league, when players made in YU league retire and stop being involved in basketball podiums will be just dreams for this countries. There is tradition here but the know-how is evaporating slowly and could be afforded only by bigger countries

The Yugoslav team of 88 was 1 or 2 years away from being at their best.They were a little too young to beat the Soviets in this game.On the other hand, the Soviets in 88 were primed for their best. This was a great Soviet team, with the dominant Sabonis.Even when he was older, and his legs had betrayed him, still played very well for Portland in the NBA. Marculonis was a spectacular NBA player. He was one of the quickest players in the NBA, but was also strong and could shoot. But Petro was tops

This is what I am calling a basketball player. He's nicknamed the God of Basketball - surely, it's sad that most people from World even don't know who was Drazen Petrovic and most people only thinking about NBA players, but try to think again - NBA isn't no1 for me, because it's all based about money, but in that case Drazen Petrovic played for own country, not for money in that times. That's a fucking BIG difference when you try to compare NBA players to players in Balkan region! Who is best?

A lot of Americans simply don't know who Drazen Petrovic is. By the time I became somewhat self aware, Drazen had already died. I was 5. I discovered him by accident, and if he hadn't died, he would have been one of the all time great shhoting guards to play in the NBA. He was certainly on pace. Of course, he said he wanted to leave the NBA, so I guess either way it wouldn't have mattered. Bottom line is, he is a legend of the game, no matter where he lived.

Djordjevic nije igrao u A selekciji jer se kosio sa Drazenom. A nije bilo ni Perasovica ni Grbovica ni Pahlica u toj ekipi, ako me dobro pamcenje sluzi. Vodili smo ali smo pukli zbog dekoncentrisanosti. Kazu da se Duda rano poceo radovati.
