A lot of people outside of the USA are wondering why Americans dont pay enough attention to their constitution. Seems like some minority groups have warped and twisted the founding fathers' wisdom.

minority group definitely. and their philosophy and lineage can be traced. it's no wonder even other countries are asking we pay attention to our constitution. we're being a global prick, and they see how hypocritical all of it is.

But they seem pretty entrenched. esp in the electing system. i mean how does a guy like ron paul get shut out so hard? everyone now knows the war was a lie, and he said were going to stay there for 100 years? how does that happen? i highly suspect voting fraud.

Winner-take-all elections suffice (no other fraud necessary) to shut out Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Ralph Nader and to make sure the best kind of person who could seriously run would be a John Kennedy, who plotted to assassinate a foreign government official, etc. Instant Runoff Voting (IRV) would change the whole face of politics and give Ron Paul and others who have sharp criticism of the mainstream a much, much, bigger voice, and maybe even the offices they seek. Support IRV!

very sobering. your analysis of characteristics are like a hot butter knife weilded against the firm-looking, but flimsy buttery propaganda. Cuts to the core. objective. and again sobering.

Any thinking perosn can see this. anyone whose minds are too systemetized to the way of thinking that is structured by the media will not see it.

Truth needs only to stand in the open. The honest, and intelligent will see, while the liars, benefactors, and ignorant will deny.

Ron Paul's movement is astounding though, if it wasn't for electoral fraud and crazy controlled media, you would have made it for sure...... I think the majority of americans are good at heart.

You still have a little hope for the next elections if the movement keeps growing. In any case well done to the movement. I don't live in a very free country myself but I hope it will not become as bad as USA..

Thank you. Unfortunately, I fear the worst. An approaching depression, continued unnecessary war, and eventually when the people rise up together to fight it...martial law. Our military will be used against us and a new revolution will begin.

Sadly, I'm inclined to agree. The laws King George is passing are nothing short of frightening. He might as well walk a couple of blocks from the White House, pull down his pants, and drop a hot log on the Constitution. It would be more subtle.
