That is terrific. I remember you, your brother and mother very well. It was a wonderful time for so many of us at Oxford. I feel that I grew up in the Oxford family. My mother was secretary for Mr. Elizer and Dr. Judy Greer and later worked with John Lovern in the housing office. Thank you for saying hello.
Thank you sooooo much! I am the little girl in the bathing suit going to the gym to swim with her brother and that's our mother, Dr. Monica Ali, behind us in the next frame. This is the Oxford that I remember best. Your video is priceless, with so many people that we remember. Thank you forever for capturing and sharing this trip down memory lane (I signed up for YouTube just so that I could thank you!)!!!
Awesome, thanks for sharing! Campus looked nearly the same 30 years later when I went (OC '08), and plenty of students in this film reminded me of people I would see around campus. Though I don't think many of us would have so brazenly carried 3 6-packs out in the open, without a backpack.
Loved it - the campus hasn't changed much and is still a gem. The clothing styles have changed! What has also changed tremendously and for the better, is the number of students of color. That was what was most striking about this clip to me. Thanks for sending it.
Dan, Thank you !! This was a great thing to share with us. The loading the beer into the VW mini-van is a truly iconic scene !! And who was that doing the 'perp walk' while covering his face with his shirt or towel? Not prophetic, I hope.
--I'd be embarrassed at how dorky I look, but do you still have any of the video of some of the high school shots, Panama City, etc? My kids would laugh for days at those. Catch me on FB if you'd like.

@widowhlper Thanks. I remember feeling like such a geek when I was running around pointing that old camera at people, but now, I'm really glad I did.
