This way was actualy a tougher method. I used Leliana to cloak, then grab the aggro from the queen. Run far back, around some large rocks, then take out the two small spiders while the queen is destracted. After that the queen retreated to it's normal position and from there I could pick it off with my warrior and Leliana, using longbows. The trick is to tuck yourself behind some rocks, and still be able to attack. The queen didn't attack at all after that.
@crusherven Force shield does staye pretty long, use it alot xD But yea, those glyps things are good to, I just dont like them. Love to stick to basic things :D
@Brian1454 Force field is good on lower difficulties, I just don't use it here because it only lasts like 3 or 4 seconds on Nightmare.
My best advice for killing those groups of 4 spiders is, as I say in the video, staying in a fairly tight group so one person doesn't get webbed/overwhelmed over and over again.
that platform was this on? i cant see the characteristics i've seen on consoles but i cant see your mous either

nightmare mode? damn! o.0
i'm just level 12 warrior and having great trouble defeating the queen.
my technique:
right off use the shield-thingy (can't remember the excat name, but it's on your number 9), so you can kill the 2 spiders withoud the queen attacking.
then just do as much damage as you can on queen, but i'm getting into trouble when she is low-health and she calls in more spiders.
i think my biggest mistake is trading my mercenary for that stupid dwarf
