@lakevubud The "attitude" of Ms. Astor might lead one to believe she was on an early version of "crack," or possibly "peyote!" They were in the desert after all! Just a joke! This is still one of the finest scenes between two performers who apparently remained friends until the death of Ms. Astor. Mary had an incredible beauty which showed in her "silent-screen-days" with Douglas Fairbanks and others! I'm grateful for your notice, and thanks for your comment!
