  • Hooooooooo,...lovely,...yesterday,. leave me alone!

  • I'm inclined to go along with w/ paul -- I too believe Ray Eberle's vocals cemented Glenn Miller's popularity and musical sway over the USofA... GREAT SONG!

  • I wasn't around in the 40s,,, but I sense a strong feel of nostalgia listening to this era of music...wonderful feeling!

  • Ray Eberle's vocals made the Glenn Miller Band, not the other way around in my view. As good as Glenn Miller was, without Ray Eberle's singing, the band was relegated to the everyday. I know a lot will disagree with me here, but think about it.

Ray Eberle was the best band singer of the 40s - by far.

  • Great tune by Glenn with Ray Eberle on vocals. Thanks for the upload.

  • I remember my Grandmother...she like this..she live during ww2 era here in the philippines.....very nice song..thanks.

  • Summer, you old Indian Summer

Youre the tear that comes after June-times laughter

You see so many dreams that dont come true

Dreams we fashioned when summertime was new

You are here to watch over

Some heart that is broken by a word that somebody left unspoken

Youre the ghost of a romance in June going astray

Fading too soon, thats why I say

    Farewell to you, Indian Summer

  • I love this song! i am just not learning on the piano!

  • I bloody love this song. Thanks for uploading it.

  • Marvelous song...

  • What a beautiful, melodic, melancholy reflective tune reflective of an autumnal mindset. The Miller organization at their finest.

  • this song is UHmazing. breaks my heart.
