Cotto didn't really hurt pAcman when they fought... Pacman was taking his punches like balloon hits.. On the other hand Margarito was the only boxer in Pacman's entire career that put the hurt on him.. he made him squeal a few times..

The jury is still in deliberation regarding Shane Mosely's career. Shane has the high KO ratio but he has admitted to cheating with performance enhancement. If he can do well against Floyd and test clean he will earn my respect but not before then.

@davi0220, keep in mind that Mosley was not hit with the illegal plaster wraps like Cotto was, so I have no doubt Cotto hit him harder. If they had not caught Margacheater, Molsey may be telling a different story. Also, Cotto was not the same after that fight, and is the only reason Roach took the fight.

Ok, so a boxer, or anyone, would take the drug untl a week or so before the fight. Meaning a week to 14 days before the fight. They gain all the benefits from the drug, and the benefits will last several weeks, but it clears the system in 2 to 4 days. So if it clears in 2 to 4 days, but the user stops a week before, it wont show up.

It's hard to detect EPO since our kidney already produces it and Urine is the best way to detect it since Testing EPO via blood will only show irregularity in the blood and not actually show if the person is taking it. We all know pacquiao agreed to unlimited random urine test all the way up to fight. peace

They are more than just rumours, Pac hasn't fought a true welterweight under the same conditions every other welterweight fight under. Look how weak and weight drained De La Hoya was, it was also stated by insiders that he had weight restrictions put on De La Hoya for what he could weigh on the night of the fight after the weigh in. A healthy De La Hoya would never have been stopped, I'm not saying he would have won but there is no way he would have taken that beating under normal circumstances.

He's only had 3 ww fights, and Roach drained them all, and all were hand picked. I don't see anything special in pac!

Paquiaou fights the best, and not a lower weight class. Mayweather fights people at lower weight class, for a sure win. Ok, so a boxer, or anyone, would take the drug untl a week or so before the fight. Meaning a week to 14 days before the fight. They gain all the benefits from the drug, and the benefits will last several weeks, but it clears the system in 2 to 4 days. So if it clears in 2 to 4 days, but the user stops a week before, it wont show up.

They are more than just rumours, Pac hasn't fought a true welterweight under the same conditions every other welterweight fight under. Look how weak and weight drained De La Hoya was, it was also stated by insiders that he had weight restrictions put on De La Hoya for what he could weigh on the night of the fight after the weigh in. A healthy De La Hoya would never have been stopped, I'm not saying he would have won but there is no way he would have taken that beating under normal circumstances.

There is one big difference here, Mosley has agreed to random testing which Floyd will also have to do also. If you have nothing to hide well why refuse the tests ? I give Floyd lots of credit, he's trying to clean up the sport and weed out the cheats. By the way, Floyd gave in to every demand Pacquiao asked for to make this fight so don't give crap that Floyd is the cause for it being scrapped. Floyd had a condition built in to the Marquez fight if he was over the 145 limit he would have to pay compensation to Marquez, Marquez already knew it was possible he would come in over the weight. Although it has to said, he only uses this demand when he knows the guy he is fighting will probably beat him. Let Pacquiao fight a true Welterweight at the 147 limit like every other Welterweight does and also not be trying to weaken his opponents by weight draining them by bringing them down to a catchweight. Mosley will wipe the floor with him at 147, but if he brings Shane down below what is his natural weight division he'll probably beat Shane. If Pac wants the title at 147 let him earn it

Finally someone has agreed with me on the weight (catchweight Pacquiao demands). I always liked Pac as a fighter but since he moved up I have lost respect for him. He currently holds a 147 title belt and he made Cotto come down to 145, its a joke, and it has been said by reliable sources that they are trying to control the weight of their opponent after the weigh in and on top of that he doesn't want to be tested inside the last 30 days before the fight (olympic testing) he's hiding something

@DEXTER941, That's why Oscar couldn't pull the triger. He received IV fluids in the dressing room before the fight. Mosley wanted to fight pac, but Roach said he would have to come down to 142. Mosley said he would come down to the same weight Oscar did. Roach said no. Mosley asked why. Roach said "you're a better fighter, why should I give you the advantage". That really bites. He's only had 3 ww fights, and Roach drained them all, and all were hand picked. I don't see anything special in pac!

@DEXTER941, cocerning the testing, no doubt at all. This is how it works:EPO can clear the system in two to four days and thus no postfight drug screening could catch it. The fighter would use it until a week or so before the fight, gain all of its benefits, cycle off and then pass the test. If you had no testing until after the fights, the boxers could dope with impunity. He knows how this works, and that's why he refused testing inside of 30 days, but said a post test was ok. He's hiding it.

@Nahom79, what I posted wasn't theory, but facts as to how PEDs/EPO help a fighter, and how long it takes to flush the system of them. Don't twist my words. I do think Manny is using these,and he has made me more suspious since he refused to take any test 30 days b4 the fight. I do believe that there are boxers that are using, and that's why the boxing Assc. needs to beef up its testing methods. Mosley used and never was caught. If he was tested by the olymp. testing system, he would have been.

This tells me he knows he will fail the test. Nearly everyone criticises Mayweather but he gave Pacquiao everything he wanted for their potential fight, he gave Pacquiao choice of the size of the ring, the choice of gloves used, gave Pacquiao the lions share of the purse, wanted Floyd to weigh in at 145 (its supposed to be a 147 fight i.e. Welterweight). Floyd gave him everything he wanted, all Floyd wanted was for him to do the drug tests, its very obvious Pacquiao is hiding something.

Dont get me wrong, floyd is an excellent boxer. Matter fact, he's the Best counter puncher and prolly has a better defense than winky. I know a prime mosley would give him 3 times more trouble than castillo. That would be more then enuff to beat a healthy floyd (unlike the shoulder injury that almost cost him the 1st castillo bout) Right now tho... I see floyd winning ONLY by decision BUT if mosley wins... it's safe to say that Mosley will kill pac and then be known as the BEST welter today.

Then he WILL clear the welterweight division out. There's a reason Floyd and Pac take different routes instead of going for mosley, the current CHAMPION of welter. Instead of picking the easier routes, pac could have faced and beat mosley, become the champ and clean out the challenges that come with it. But he KNOWS mosley is too dangerous. I only have to say if paqman loses its still really not anything off his record. Hes fighting opponents bigger than he. That hits harder than he. But Paq has for him is his footwork. and is always in position to hit with either hand. If he wins itll put him on a higher pedistool(?), than he is already.

Paquiaou fights the best, and not a lower weight class. Mayweather fights people at lower weight class, for a sure win. Back in the day around 01-03 I thought he was the best, but lately hes just fighting anyone thats, either for the money or for the prestige of a perfect record. To say hes the best you have to fight the best.
