@Shanethefilmmaker You are precisely right. Birds (doves usually) are used exclusively in magic because they're easy to maintain, and can squeeze safely into a prop. In fact, there this a prop called a "dove harness" which does just that.

I was lucky enough to see this tour live in Indiana. The man catching the eggs is Kriss Kenner. A world renoun magician. I knew him breifly before he left to work for David. It was at a magic restaurant near Indianapolis named Illusion. I washed dishes there. To learn magic. Kriss was so nice to me.

@q512da whats there to explain on the egg part. it was meant to be funny. But the chicken I can explain. There is a pouch inside the cloth that the stage hand hands to him. the chicken is held in safe in there.and he simply unraveling the pouch quickly.
