I dont agree with "forcing his bad leg" starting around 1:10. He may be fidgeting because he doesn't want you to do that or may be fidgeting because he feels discomfort but, I guess you would know your bird well enough to identify the difference. When Louie my Sun Conure had a torn leg ligament I exercised her to her ability only or like you did w/ Truman in the beginning of the video. I never took hold of her leg and literally force moved it. Past 1:10 did the vet tell you to perform those?
@tropicalluv89 YES!!! The vet specifically told me that I had to do that to exercise the muscles after a month and a half of immobility. Until I've begun doing these, he wasn't walking/standing right. After about 1-2 weeks of doing these exercises his leg healed to 100%.
you know something, I've been following your video's, it sad that Truman has an injury, adn expensive , I'm sure, you took us all through it, and we're grateful, good comes out of bad incidents, your experience has given us all tips and first hand experience with you, you've help us all through, what we could be in for at some point. WE are sorry about poor trueman, yet greateful for the good that comes from it. I lost a my brownheaded, 3 weeks ago, freak accident. I'm different today from it
Why don't you do a video on how to care for senegals and cape parrots? I'd watch them!
