I really don't see this bringing anything new to the table. It looks hack and slash but I reckon that is a guise for the fact it actually plays exactly like WoW. Until MMOs stop copying WoW and it's spotlight dies down a bit the MMO genre is down the toilet. I'd say the same for genres such as FPS but Battlefield 3 looks promising in terms of shaking the foundations up a bit, although not enough imo.

Yeah that didn't look bad but we haven't seen much of that yet and it has a while to go, what with testing coming in the summer. I'd say expect it mid 2012. We have other games which sounded okay -- Conan MMO with combos changing according to what button you push, DC universe, etc and they fall to near F2P state in 6 months. We need a solid hitter with new solid mechanics, not adaptations.
