  • lol,... replied to a few post ive already replied too...

  • Hi, ive got à question. Ive got à problem with my acer aspire 6930g. I Cannot log in and dunno what to do. I'm in erecovery management at THE moment, but havent made à backup. Will i lose everything on my pc when i choose to perform: recover factory default? Cause i dont want that.. Please help me!!!

  • @Coldasskilla24 yes you will lose everything. My suggestion is:

    1) Download and burn a linux live cd (ex: ubuntu

    2) plug in a usb and boot off the cd

    3) Mount your windows and usb drive

    4) browse every file in your windows drive. copy/pastefiles to keep onto the usb.

    5) safely eject the usb drive, plug into a seperate pc one that has an updated realtime av scanner)

    6) open a few files to make sure none got corrupted for some reason

    7) then boot into eRecovery and factory restore

  • if i do this will i still have microsoft word and internet?

  • @BlizzKrieger well.... windows does not provide internet, just a client to use it. you will keep internet explorer. As for microsoft word, it depends on your version of windows (ex basic, home, premium) at the very least you will have wordpad and notepad.

If your laptop came with microsoft word when it was bought brand new from a store, then yes you will keep it.

  • Help it won't let me connect to the internet it says that the firewall is blocking it

  • The camera picked up red because the screens are red green blue or rgb so while the screen is showing blue the camera picks up red

  • @movieediter1 also was the angle the camera was at/

  • depends on your model. On 5515 its in front near the headphone and mic jacks. tell me your model.

  • @D1r7yD Oh, Thank you for helping me, that is very nice of you. I have the Acer Aspire One D257-1854, I bought it recently, it has Windows 7 Starter in it. The way to turn off the wireless antenna is press function key and F3 at the same time, it disables the antenna. But I have to do that every single time when I turn the computer on. I wish they had a way to turn the automatic wireless antenna off so that it does not turn on when I turn the computer on. I only need it when traveling.

  • @KennyReddwooddforest have you looked online for a way to do that within regedit?

  • @D1r7yD Thank you for your response. I really appreciate it. What is regedit? I never heard about it. Is there a way to reprogam my computer to set the wireless antenna so that it does not turn on when computer turns on?

  • How do I disable the automatic wireless antenna?

  • @KennyReddwooddforest

depends on your model. On 5515 its in front near the headphone and mic jacks. tell me your model.

  • what about if both alt f10 and ctrl f10 didnt work what ells can i do?

  • @zSEVEREz try shift + f10

  • what about acer aspire 5532 it wont respont to ctrl f10

  • @idiom555

    try "shift + f10"

  • @D1r7yD

and if shift f10 doesn't work, do alt f10.....

  • WHOA! NICE ONE. I havent tryed it because i am afraid that my mom is gonna yell at me.

  • Just use eRestore.

  • @DarkZTerminal

sometimes malware can be bad enough to where you cannot log into the laptop to start eRecovery.

  • @D1r7yD yeah.

  • @D1r7yD Thanks for the video, it helped a lot bro.

  • I have the extensa 5220 and I don't have erecovery manager on it or a cd. Please can some one help me ASAP. Also when I do this method it cones up with a password which I so know but it then takes me to the windows screen then to the login screen like nothin happened :/

  • What about an Acer Aspire 4730Z?

  • i have an acer aspire 5z42z, (Windows 7 64Bit) with a recovery partition, when i run the factory default disks (which i burned with the eRecovery management program) the question i want to ask is, will the programs that came with the laptop remain as they were when i bought it or will it just be a raw windows 7 with no extra software? this is improtant because it came with MS Office preloaded (Home & Student) along with other programs such as NTI Media Maker and so on

  • @stillalive0013

it will be "factory defualts" what ever was on it when it was shipped from the factory will be backed up in the partition.

  • @D1r7yD also, is there a limited amount of times i can do this? thanks

  • @stillalive0013

there should NOT be. I've never come across that issue. a few models may have a limit, but i HIGHLY doubt it. I've been meaning to make a video on ghost imaging a pc/laptop. i will do so next time i need to factory restore a pc i guess. if yours does have a limit, it should say so.

  • @stillalive0013 it will come as if it just left the factory, when you buy it from the store its as if it just came from the factory as well. if not then someone was messing with your laptop prior to your purchase, and you need to take action =) maybe get some money.

  • It's alt f10.

  • @Dattdudebadd1 thanks!!

  • WHAT ABOUT ACER TRAVELMATE 2410 XP PRO. ? (I know it's old) lol PLEASE HELP!!!

  • @nauproof

Acer travelmate 2410 came with recovery CD's ~IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN~. [most of the time], pc's/laptops that come with recovery cd's do not have a recovery partition.

You should contact Acer about getting replacement recovery cd's, shouldn't cost to much (far less than taking it to a shop to be fixed).

Once you have the cd's boot of disc (1 if multiple).

after recovery i strongly urge you to create a ghost image of your pc,

I have plans on tutorials for imaging in later vids.

  • @D1r7yD Thank you for reply! But I did fix it without CD's. So thanks for helping mate! :)

  • THANKS SOOOOOO MUCH
