@CaptBadazz - thank you, Randy! I hope that you and your family are doing well. I sent you an email over the weekend, albeit a couple of days later than I had hoped (sorry). As always, I am honored to hear that you have enjoyed one of my videos. I look forward to hearing from you when your busy schedule permits. Peace - Mark
great video mark! is it a ready to use one or you created this from the beginning? i mean has so many awesome options and difficult angles that if this filmed by you...my warmest congrats!!!
@katysovereign - Continued Part-2: You will also notice that there is a scene when the perspective changes from moving horizontally along the ground to hovering above a tree. The scene then rotates 360° (counter-clockwise). I liked this, but the transition to the next scene was jarring. I made a copy of the rotation scene, reversed the rotation (clockwise), placing it so that it followed the original counter-clockwise scene. This created a smooth transition to next scene and worked well IMHO.
@katysovereign - Continued Part-1: Long story short, the video that you end up watching here contains content that was filmed or created by other parties, but the sequence of the scenes, the speed of each scene, and the various visual effects are most often added by me during editing process. For example, I believe that this video contains something like 18 scenes, and out of those scenes most have been slowed down, but a few were sped up. This helps the video align with the music. (cont)
@katysovereign - thanks for the great question. The answer to your question is both yes and no. Allow me explain. I find links to interesting videos on various sites, such as Gizmodo for example, and download a copy. I then use Sony Vegas to dissect the video, or videos, into scenes that I like. I arrange these scenes and music, watch the rough edit, and usually edit and rearrange several times. I usually add effects, such as converting to B&W, glow, speeding up/slowing down scenes. (cont)
Another beautiful video!! Love the blur/gray/black tone and the ominous sky. The aerial shots make this rather majestic..
