As always, it seems that Riza is the only one romantically interested in Hiro and is worried about him. Only the closing scene shows Lillian showing him any kind of emotion. Song is as cruel as Hell, but that is how Lillian treats Hiro all the time.

Don't discredit an anime just because it has more speaking and introspective moments than action. For instance, Ghost in the Shell is a masterpiece, and though it has a fair amount of action, it also has tons of quiet moments, and it wouldn't be half the movie it is without those moments. All I'm saying is, an anime does not need to be all action, all the time to be good.
