I sold mike a les paul from guitar center eugene in 04 or so...wonder if he still has that...I gave him my guitar tape and he never replied...lol...I guess I wasn't his cup o tea...but a cool dude nonetheless..!!...great band...they opened for high on fire at samurai duck...there were like 17 people there....it rocked...his skills have definitely improved over the years...

YOB is fuckin' cool. I like the way they maintain a groove and become slightly more chaotic towards the end of it...if that makes sense.

@DemilichFan Yeah, they does that a lot, but knowing my father, Mike Scheidt, he likes to try out new things often for the band; and for their next album, he's gonna be doing some stuff that he usually doesn't do, but it will still sound like YOB.

I saw these guys in Eugene several months ago and it's probably my favorite concert experience ever! At one point, I think the crowd reaction to some awesome riff made Mike laugh with glee and it came through the mic... just great :)

These guys and another three piece band from Italy Ufomammut (look them up if you like Yob seriously) are absolutely amazing.
