I go to Columbine now. Today at school I leaned against that railing to reach down and tie my shoes on the Cafeteria landing...Where the gunman knelt and made that shot in this video. Plus, I put my hand on the same doorknob Dylan Klebold used to open the Library door...before I used the Computer at the same EXACT table someone was murdered underneath. I try not to think about these things in school, but I can't help it.

I lost a friend in a school shooting the same day Kip Kinkle shot his classmates in Springfield, Oregon. I went to school in Onalaska, WA. and my friend was a victim of himself. The thing that pushed him over the edge was his girlfriend breaking up with him. He apparently rode the bus to her house, and when she saw him, she ran back into her house, with him in hot pursuit, and a gun in his hand. When he heard her calling 911 in her bedroom, he killed himself outside her door. RIP Miles!
I am a current student at columbine. Eric and Dylan were not bullied. At least not more that anyone else. Its sad that so many people think that they were justified. If you're really interested and want to know what really happened at columbine i would recommend reading the book "Columbine" by Dave Cullen. My school was very small and there was no violence and nobody would outright bully anyone, but of course kids still were hurtful to each other, made cliques, and went out of their way to leave some kids out and make them feel rejected. I feel so sorry for Eric & Dylan, & of course for the victims & their families. But what many people forget is that Eric and Dylan's parents had to carry not only the grief of losing their own sons in such an awful way, but also they had to carry the burden & sorrow of all the people's lives that Eric & Dylan destroyed.
Eric and Dylan fought fire with fire. They repaid anger with anger. As we see, that can never be the right way to go. Ironically that's what Jesus taught, a person they hated.

@timberland1108 Yes, absolutely! You're so right about all that. It's interesting that you just got out of high school; I did not too long ago too. My school was very small and there was no violence and nobody would outright bully anyone, but of course kids still were hurtful to each other, made cliques, and went out of their way to leave some kids out and make them feel rejected. I can remember going home after school crying all the time. I was never happy, & was never among the popular kids.

@thetribegirl51096, my state has some of the strictest "Gun Control" laws in the country we also have one of the highest murders rates from shooting fatalities. For a law abiding citizen obtaining a means to defend yourself is a lengthy, scrutinizing process where the State Police look for any little reason to deny you a permit.. for some "gangsta" getting an AK-47 is as easy is as having the cash

So because some malnourished urban retards decide to shoot each other that means EVERYONE should not be allowed to own a gun? that's very idealistic.. and the saying "where there's a will there's a way" comes to mind. You don't need a gun to kill someone. A 200 lb rapist doesn't need a gun to rape a woman but the woman will need a gun to defend herself. We aren't Sweden, or Norway, or Canada.. violence will always be prevalent here and outlawing pistols is not going to change that. The American government already does 'everything' they can to keep drugs off our streets and look how well that's turned out ;)

We studied this in School its apart of our Issues class, and our teacher talked about it, i am glad he did cause this is one of the worst shootings if not the worst in the United States 234 year history, so we gotta learn from this and make sure it dont happen again, but idk much about but i know some, but i was only 6 at the time of this incident.
