  • Where can I find that Background, I have looked everywhere?

  • @dxstudios came with iMovie

  • I tried this out at a camera store with my t2i...the stabilizer mode didn't really impress me one bit

  • @BlackSupraC2 I used a Canon SX1-IS for this test. The T2i is much heavier camera. I did try it out, but I found that using the kit lens with the IS on and at 18mm wide angle shot was the best way to have a smooth shot. Trying it out wouldnt get you best results since it does take sometime to know how to handle it well.

I still use the modosteady, but mainly as a shoulder-brace mode or let the arm sit on top of my should for better stability.

  • @Cjeightball im just worried silicone based will get filthy faster, the simple ball/socket gimbal is not sealed so in the field, i think dust can easily build up. Do you have this? what works for you?

  • @JoeStyle8,

I've used WD-40 has a lubrificant many times, It's equivalent to a very fine (low viscosity) oil, there is only one issue with it (or some oils): It can dissolve some types of plastic... be careful where you apply it...
