I saw these guys open for Alice in Chains at the HoB in Cleveland and it was fucking phenomenal! The song I saw him play the fiddle in wasn't a specific violin piece like this is. I saw him go offstage while the lead player started a solo and then when the solo was over he came out with the violin and picked up the solo where the lead guitarist left off. That was awesome.
I actually downloaded their entire discography and in between all their live cds this one was my favorite especially this song and house carpenter! just about my favorite band right now

Too good!!! addicting would be better used to dscribe the talent of this band in their music and brilliant lyrics though the first records are much better than goodbye to the machine im going all the way back to their self titled cd and songs like ubleed, yearn, the new disease...just brilliant makes me wanna grab my guitar and play
This is one of my favorite songs. I had the pleasure of seeing them front row at Dayton's X-Fest and held hands with J. Loren and he gave me a guitar pick! :)
Simply STUNNING. I caught them in Orlando last night. Why this band isn't the most popular band on the planet I do not understand. J. Loren is brilliant, their songs are brilliant, and the violin contrasted hard rock is like nothing else out there. I am a fan forever.
Because their crappy old label released Ten Ton Brick as their first single which, while a cool song, sounds nothing like anything else they have on Vol I, Vol II, or off The Blackmarket EP
this time. They are insanely talented. They came down off the stage right into my arms. And theres nothing better then getting sweaty hugs from sexy musicians!
J.Loren especially. Thanks J.That made my night hope to talk to you again soon!
The Raw version can be purchased as part of the Connect Set release. (I believe it's available on Amazon...?) However, it doesn't include the Vivaldi medley that was performed on the recent tour. :)
it really is! I've seen it live enough times (plus watching everyone's vids from different shows) to know that he NEVER plays it the same way twice... yet another reason to go and experience them LIVE!!!! ;)
This was brilliant! :) This is by far my favourite of their songs.

Very underrated band! Friends and I have often said if there is one word to describe J Loren, and Hurt, for us, it would have to be Powerful.

It was at their concert in Chicago (23 July) that I realized he's probably a better violinist than me.

I was at that show as well - it was a great set.

It's amazing how a 330 year old piece of music can bring freshness to a genre that's only 60 years old.
This man is brilliant. Actually, my knowledge of English limits me in describing such pure awesomeness. Thank you J.
