If I have five $2 register rewards coupons toward next purchase, can I use all five at the same time to buy $10 worth of product? Or can I only use one per transaction?
OH! And before I forget...you can only use one MFR coupon per item in your purchases. So if you have a coupon that's say, save $1.50 on two boxes of General Mills cereals - you can't use two $1.50 MFR coupons, when you have a coupon that lets you save as two items, they count as one item.
If you want to use coupons and still get RR's, you *should* be able to use a coupon from the weekly Walgreens add, PLUS a coupon from our MegaSaver coupon book. It doesn't get circulated in the Newspapers, it has to be used in the store. Very often, you can use BOTH of these coupons (the MegaSaver - known as IN STORE coupons on ad tags) on an item and *still* get the register rewards.
BUT there is a kicker...and this is something that has been causing many Walgreens' stores issues. As a new Walgreens cashier, I've learned (through many unhappy customers, unfortunately) that if you use a manufacturer's coupon to purchase something that will earn you a Register Rewards coupon, you won't get the RR slip. This is because RR's are STILL manufacturer's coupons.
I'm not trying to go against anything that you're saying because I think you have a great vlog going here!
New to coupons. Walgreen's Kellogs cereal 1.99; limit 4. Got 4; had coupon $1 off two; had two coupons. Box each = 1.24, Went to Walmart for newspapers; Kellogs cereal cost more, but box was larger. 20 oz versus my Walgreens box for 15 ounce. Am I really saving any money? Or am I getting a "deal" for less? Help.
First of all, yeah for you and for even trying to save. It takes work and you are doing just fine. It will come to you as you keep shopping every week. ;). An yes it a deal bcause regular puchase is 3.49 to 4.50 at some store for 1 box. SO work it!!
Oh yeah don't forget that on the Saturdates at Walgreens the girls also have coupons special for the saturdate! Those days you help us believe me we will help you throughout the week!
I've been so focused lately on my Bath and Body Works savings, that I have negelected the 'regular' coupons! I'm a 'clipper', so, I went out today and got those trading card sheet protectors so I can get back in the groove!
Good luck trying to explain this process to the dozens of questions you're gonna get from people that just won't understand (no matter how you try to explain it.)
I shop at Walgreens at least once per week and I think you can have a lower out of pocket cost. You can use previous register receipts along with MFR coupns to get cost lower. Here is an example,
Pert 2/$5
Secret $2.49
Total=7.49
Use
-1.00 MFR Coupon Pert
-1.00 MFR Coupon Per
-5.00 Register Reward *if you have this amount form a previous purchase
Total Out of Pocket 2.49+your state tax
Get back $2RR-Pert & $1.00-Secret Total RR 3.00, $.15 money maker.
@sweetsali25 plus you can stack cheap stuff like jello or w/e and use another say 2.00 reg reward to take it even lower i saw this one get done to me at the check out he payd...!!! 55cents!!! i know i was happy for him
not exactly sure what you r asking... If you mean add a qpon to an item at Walgreens, then the answer is yes. If you referring to another store then it depends on their policy - i.e. Publix in Ga, does dbl qpons up to .50, but Publix in FL does NOT!

Here's a tip I WILL give, though:

It doesn't get circulated in the Newspapers, it has to be used in the store. I hope this helps everyone out a little!
