@darkstarsk8er327 The pressure created by the jet coming out of the bottom should cause it to go flying out of the tube, although it isn't always reliable (see my video "when smoke bobm mortars go wrong" for proof =P) just keep experimenting and it should work.

People if youre going to do this then it may go horribly wrong, the stuff really goes up when it starts up, just add about 20mls of water to partially dissolve some mixture and stop any reaction happening during cooking, the water will be evapourated when finished.

@yankovitch It should be fine how it is, i used normal granulated sugar that you can buy in stores with saltpeter which came as a power. If you have larger lumps it may help to grind them up a little although it should all melt together in the pan anyway.

@V2RocketWarfare a little bit, the stuff is very hydroscopic so it will become sticky and wet after a few days in the air, seal it in an air tight container if youre not using it for even hours. it will work but its probably not as good after poor storage.

FOUND SALT PETER

Its just stump remover. Works great.

Also if you want to make a tear gas type of smoke >:) mix in pepper or anything like that. it also makes the smoke darker and a bit thicker when you mix organics into it. i used cinnomin sugar and mixed in some pepper to the mix and it made nearly black smoke that burns like hell to the eyes.

no, nothing else was added. and you drop it tape side down and light the exposed end, the mixture lights very easily without anything extra but you can add a fuse if you want. hope u understand now :)
