@TheDracopire It depends on how powerful the gun is.. If it is above 500 FPS, Yes you need to have a license but if it's around 300-495 FPS, you do not need one. Btw it depends what country you are. Here in Canada, as long as you are 18 and have an ID, you can buy an Airgun/Airsoft without any firearms license.

@TheDracopire btw there's a law in which if you own a "Replica" gun, you need to have a firearms license to own even though it's only an Airsoft or an Airgun because it's a "Replica" which looks completely the same with the original gun. But if it's not a Replica gun, you don't need to have license..

You can't even carry an airsoft gun unless your local laws permit it. Most county areas permit such, but just check anyways! And yes, I think you have to be older than 12.
