FYI, I think you can completely disconnect a node by clicking on it, holding it, and shaking it back and forth (hence the name of the program). Anyway, great tutorial!
@fireryhorse Shake is more for bringing in everything together, like say you already have the muzzle flash footage like in this tutorial. After Effects provides better tools for actually making the elements, but less tools on bringing it together
