The only reason ps3 can run mgs4 is because sony is one of the companies that own bluray. microsoft isnt. just because ps3 has blueray doesnt mean that ps3 is better. multi-platform games look better on 360, run more smoothly, and have fractions of the load times of ps3.

As an Xbox owner, I would have to agree with this video. The Xbox's HD disks just wont cut the massive amounts of gameplay and/or the cutscenes. hell, the cutscenes will probably take up four disks...
The fact that the ps3 blu ray has maybe 50gb single disc (which mgs4 is on) and the xbox has maybe 8gb or more then this shows that the xbox version would have maybe 7 disc. Even if so I would still buy this game if it was put on xbox 360. Fan of the mgs. Disc swapping doesnt to me as long as I get to play the game :)

The Xbox DVDs are way too small. The graphics are not the problem, its the amount of space that MGS4 takes up. MGS4 was so large that it had to be compressed just to even fit on a Blu-ray disk
it would take more than 2 or 4 disks for the 360 more like 7 disks. the 360 has 6.4 GBs on one disk, and the reason why the 360 only has 6.4 GBs insetad of 9.4 GBs is because micosoft uses 3GBs for copy right protection. PS3 has 50 GBs on one disk, but it would be awesome if MGS4 did come out for the 360 so that everyone can play it.

@RotcivWorld not impossible. It is very possible to remake the game in 7 discs. The only problem is that Konami has little interest to spend money in that kind of production. Though there were rumors that the first 3 games will come on xbox 360, of course remade in HD.

I found out XBOX 360 is 1 terafraps while PS3 is 2 terafraps and MGS4 is exclusivly for PS3 duel layered.
In other words, it should've been 2 or 4 Discs on XBOX 360.

@BROOKIE44529 Whoa whoa whoa.......graphics are not the issue for MGS4, it's the size of content that's the issue. Also Crysis 2 is hardly a good example considering it's nowhere near as good as the graphics in the origonal.
IDC about game graphics but Blu-ray movies are fucking amazing on my dad's tv, kinda ruins the movie aspect being so real looking.

MGS4 is 25GB. An Xbox 360 disc at 20% Compression is 13.01GB. If you used 2 disc's, the game MGS4 would work.

@RotcivWorld not impossible. It is very possible to remake the game in 7 discs. The only problem is that Konami has little interest to spend money in that kind of production. Though there were rumors that the first 3 games will come on xbox 360, of course remade in HD.

stop being idiotic fanboys people mgs4 is great game but it's overloaded with stuff 60% of the game is cut scenes and graphics are not that awesome halo has better this game is just overloaded and that's the reason it's that big 360 can run it on 1 disc without any problems they can make rising graphics better than 4 and it will still be on 1 disc you ppl kinda adore blu ray but it's nothing special

@iNFernoSoulja At 1 point on the game, Otacon told Snake to insert disc 2, but then realizes the game's on Blu-Ray, so there's no need. Cutscenes is part of the franchise. Expect to see a lot of them in Rising.
Most reviews of MGS4 gave it a full score. Its THAT GOOD. I love Halo (especially Reach and ODST) but come on, when it comes to story telling, this is better.
And look at Final Fantasy 13. The graphics run in SD on Xbox, but HD on PS3, because of 50GB data for PS3 being too much for Xbox

it was kind of funny but i do remember the ps and ps2 were really the only ones ever to have a multiple disk game. i may be wrong but i know the gran turismo and a few of the final fantasy games were multiple disks.. so that being said this video didnt make much sense to me. i got out of gaming for a really long time and have just recently started getting back into it so people plz dont come at me with any stupid remarks

@esmaelooo the graphics will be much higher in the 360 than the one on the ps3 you say? have you played MGS4 before? it's not a sim movie style with button mashing all over and over you know! i think you said that becaus you saw those multi platform games like red dead 2 where the 360 version graphicaly is a little better than the ps3 version so you judge that the 360 could out matched the ps3 in the graphics department man you really need to play a ps3 exclusive some day to see the diffrens.
