  • Qué material negro es ese???? Por qué no suelta vapores???

  • can you give me a link how to do this??

  • Kool !

  • what is the stuff inside the testtube?

  • sounds like a 3 cylinder diesel tractor, really cool dude!

  • lol looks lik crack in the plastic tube at the end lol

  • thats good so what does work it

  • Sounds exactly like a Perkins tractor engine. :)

  • Get a muffler for that :D

  • 3 cylinder nice.

  • make it move plz???

  • muito bom. é o melhor que vi ate agora. parabéns.

  • cuantas rpm produce el motor?

  • Looks like a Lamina flow engine not a stirling engine - sometimes called a thermal acoustic engine ? hugs from UK

  • buenas tardes caballero,

  • suon like my fiat talento 1.7 d (truck diesel) xD

  • Very nice model.

  • this is what we call a heat exhange system. energy is not converted into motion. there is no decrease in heat output, there is only a transfer of heat from a hot body into the surrounding air into more mass. if you add a load to the motor, there is only a smaller variation in temperature. all the energy you put in is wasted. the energy you get from the variation in temperature is a force differential times distance that originate from the zero point.

  • This is a lamina stirling. A pretty innefficient engine.

  • It only sounds like a diesel cause it's off kelter... anyway, why I'm here... I'd ove to see some stlering engine do something for a change... ANYTHING OF USE!! loL MAXWELLartGORDON

  • does the sterling engine have the best thermal efficiency of the heat engines?

  • sound like diesel engine xD

  • These engines do have torque and are used for somethings the were used back we people needed them now we have computers and engines that run on gasoline so we dont use them anymore but people still love them.

  • Omg nice, it sound like a truck ;-)

  • this engine is a very ingenious concept... but it would be better if it could be evloved enough to actually do something like run an R/C.........

  • do these have any torque to them? could an engine of this size do anything useful?

  • Run a small rc car!

  • it really doesnt even look that powerful.

  • it's got 3 pistons!!!.. way more torque... it should run one

  • notice how easy he stops it at :30

  • It's powered by three candles. Of course it's not going to be powerful.

  • the engine is too heavy to run an rc car its not that power effeicient engine

  • Let me see now...

A.f.a.i.k there are some "industrially manufactured true Stirling engines" onboard the Swedish subs, I think they call them AIP.

  • Yes. However, let us not forget that industrially manufactured true Stirling engines happily ran farm machinery and also that they are now being developed as the natural engines for Hybrids.

  • The higher pressure engines have much more torque, they're just a bit tricky to build without leaks

  • cool looks like crack pipes

  • sweet!

  • This is actually three engines in one. They are thermoacoustic engines, which only have one piston. The principle of operation is not too different from the Rijke tube, except this is a closed system.

  • tres interessant

    muy intérésenté

  • did you made all of the parts at yourself ??

  • Very nice!
