Even though I am a redneck from Arkansas, and I think that AIC is still a very powerful band. Sure, there's no way to really replace Layne, because he was one of the greatest singers ever. But I respect William for stepping up, and I think he is doing a wonderful job, so all the haters need to go complain somewhere else

The truth is if you were to try to see AIC with Layne it would only be lucky to catch them when he was sober enough to sound good. I tried 3 times and they cancelled do to his addiction. Finally saw them with Duvall and was not disappointed. I wish Layne could have conquered his demons. I would of loved to seen him in top form. Bless his soul for giving us what he did....

Honestly, I love Layne Staley, I love him like a brother, and though I was young and ignorant to who Alice in Chains was at the time, I love the band and feel like I've known them my whole life. And honestly, Jerry Cantrell has done nothing but right by Layne Staley. I guarantee you that Layne Staley is nothing but proud of Jerry Cantrell and the band. Much love.
