@Fanik10 I was in KinderGarten and sadly i did not start watching Wrestling until second grade around the time of Wrestlemania V however i knew of Hogan and Andre and how big it was like i have vauge memories of people talking about it when i was 6 years old
The 1997 re-release of WrestleMania III does have The Alan Parsons Project's "Sirius" as Steamboat's theme, and "Who's Zoomin' Who?" is used as the ending highlight piece.
The original theme to Wrestlemania 3 was Who's Zoomin Who by Aretha Franklin. This was from the Coliseum video release where they replaced the original music with (presumably) a Jim Johnston WWE produced piece. They also edited out Ricky Steamboats entrance on the Coliseum video tape due to it being "Sirius" by Alan Parsons Project.
@AlbanianMan ....yeah man...that's funny. I remember that too. I still get chills when i watch the ending of that match...the fink...."AANNNNNNNNNNNND NEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!" lol.
def a great wrestlemania, i was pullin for the harts and danny davis to win their match, and i have always been a fan of rick martel..so i was sold in the opening match
Wrestlemania III was, is, and always will be the greatest wrestling extravaganza of all time. I know most people that came up in the "Attitude" era hang onto Wrestlemania X-7 as the best ever and that's fine, but I can't put Rock/Austin over Hogan/Andre. I can't put Angle/Benoit over Savage/Steamboat. However WMII doesn't have an answer to TLC, and the Gimmick battle royal was better than the midget-mixed tag match. It's close but the weight of Hogan/Andre gives III the edge for my money.
Amen this is the greatest pay per view in wrestling history. 10.7 or something like that on the buyrate. That is like the final episode of M A S H it will never ever be surpassed.
I grew up in the "Attitude" Era and I even say that Wrestlemania III is beter that X-7. I have the Coliseum video, the re-released in 1997, and the dvd to promote wm 23.
That wasn't the original intro... looks like it was redone for the updated version. I have the original tape too and cover... I think the retail price on it is $54!!
wow....i still got the original on vhs somewhere...shit...i must have been in 2nd grade??? march '87?? wow!!

The greatest WM EVER, no doubt about it! First time ever for WM in a major Staduim vs a dinky little arena too, and it sold out!

I still have this WrestleMania on TAPE, damn it. This is easily one of my top 3 WrestleManias ever.

This might be the intro from the PPV. I think when WWE 24/7 shows PPV's they have the actual PPV tapes not the ones that WWF sold later.
