exzactly what your doing wrong is you keep on going up after the bonus rocks flyout. If you just go through them fast enough and stay right above his nose until the purple electric sparks come flying at you, then move. Do this while holding down the fire button through out the boss battle and I'm sure you won't fail.

Can you play it again and this time try to focus on shooting the enemy and getting him to explode wildly instead of trying to get all 67673438647836438763874638476 bonuses.
In terms of scoring, my man IcarusFW, that was truly OUTSTANDING and one of the absolute best I have seen so far!! I cannot imagine why the screen at the end said "You fail it!" and its text, which was pretty mean of the game, I think! But boy, your method in Stage 6 proved something A LOT BETTER than that, and so YOU ROCK!!! :D !!

OMG !!! U Rule !!! I used at least 20 credits just for this level and you have not died a single time !!!!!
I usually play with Arystulaim and finish him 30 seconds before, but I never survive more than 10 secs !!! I kind'of like your strategy.
Your high score is 15 times higher than mine 0_0
PS : Are you using "turbo mode" ? because I know some controllers hav'em or are you really really tiring your fingers lol !!!
