@DavidEdwinCarr. I worked on RMB and yes, we had to retune each note using an AKAI S1000. Almost very single phoneme was tuned. Scuttlebutt was that she went out with an A&R guy helping her get a deal. Mind you, even good singers get tuned now. If you listen carefully around 3:30 the voice is exposed and you can hear the pitch-yness. It was almost impossible to retune a note properly that changed during it's duration. The BVs helped conceal this usually.
