He used Dimarzio pickups in the past. He no longer uses Dimarzios and hasnt for about 6 years. His new guitars all come with Suhr DSH bridge pickups and Suhr single coils. He has EMG pickups on his #2 RB Suhr from the mid 90's.

The Dimarzios were used when he was in Dokken.

Bassically that noise can be made bye pulling off on the frets e.g. 4-2-0 (works good on the G string) over and over again whilst moving the edge of your picking hand along the same string (but try to touch it lightly) to get harmonics that are produced after every pull off, Does that make it at all clear?? If not, then you can ask me again and ill try to make it clearer lol.

You could use the side of your little finger for example, because it is thin so will create harmonics easier, I actually use the edge of my thumb, but it doesnt matter too much as long as its lightly touchin the string. It can be anywhere on your finger, just try it out and find what part works best for you.
