  • Most legends don't live up to their hype, but Jordan EXCEEDED what we expected from him night after night after night after night after......

  • I remember this game. I was 12. I watched it on TV, and I remember screaming like an idiot and proclaiming I had a new hero (I hadn't seen Jordan's first 3 championship run). I just looked this video up to remember that moment.

  • @Dallas31616

    - Yeah .. He's wearing Chicago bull 10s

  • Was he wearing the 10s?

  • The announcer sounds like he said, "I DID IT AGAIN!" lol

  • the GOAT is the best!

  • ATLANTA HAS SOME OF THE MOST DISLOYAL FANS !!!

  • da air..........man

  • Johnny Red Kerr one of the best announcers of all time. Crazy how they were in Atlanta but when he hit that shot it was like a home game for the Bulls. crowd went crazy!! MJ is the greatest to ever play....simply amazing

  • Red Kerr's scream after the basket still gives me goosebumps. I'm so lucky to have been able to watch this mans career. MJ you were truly an artist on the hardwood.

  • Johnny Red Kerr RIP, miss watching Bulls games growing up in Illinois

  • did Nike pay Lang to put up that shot when they could have held onto it?

  • Lol@ "lenny wilkins must be cutting his wrists." I guess mainstream media was much different in '95. A broadcaster says that today during a live telecast and there would be chaos.

  • Look at that. This is when The nba didn't make the continuation a hour long.If you guys watch 2:25 you see that in today nba that basket would have count, instead they make the bulls inbound it again. Is good to see jordan punish them anyway in the same posession.Looking at lebron top play he travel a lot in those continuation and damn he take his precious time shooting the ball in those driving foul.

  • it's hard to believe that MJ stopped playing for 1,5 year in the NBA and played in his

second game since his comeback in 1995 as like he never left.

  • Crowd erupts as Jordan finished their team... EPIC

  • CLUTCH

  • Amazing performance by MJ!!! Thanks for upload.

  • you konw, about the buzzer beater, it's obvious that the defender had done his 100% best to guard michael, but michael was just too good to stop. You can't do anything but let him do whatever he wanted.

  • MY BIRTHDAY :DDDDD

  • NO ONE will EVER be as clutch as Mike. EEEEEVVVVVEEEERRRRR

  • Buzzerbeater starts at 4:15

  • LoL at final comment by broadcaster "LENNIE WILKENS HAS TO BE CUTTING HIS WRISTS AT THIS STAGE"

  • I remember watching this game live....... I nearly ejaculated when he hit the game winner.

  • @gbinct

i lol so hard at this comment. that was too funny.

  • I was at this game. Goosebumps.

  • EVERYONE cheered for Jordan. Except silly jealous haters that wanted to be like Mike but couldn't...

  • gotta love the commentator orgasm.. lol jk

  • GOD

  • "lenny wilkins has to be cutting his wrists at this stage" anyone else think this is a little dark for basketball commentary lmfao ?

  • The Greatest Ever He Can Come Leave Come Back And Still Stay Dominate Then Anyone He Compete Against ...... That Buzzer Beater Shows You Whos The Daddy Of The NBA

  • crowd cheering for MJ and he's not even home. every court is MJ's homecourt back then.

  • damn, jordan was 32 at that time...koby turns 32 !!

hope to see koby getting some rings like jordan

  • Lol that team suck if your crowd was cheering for the visiting team go bulls

  • "he is now BACK!!" gotta love red

  • on this day i was 13 days old

  • 2:17 nig was on skates EEEeeeee

  • It did not matter where Lenny Wilkens coached (Cleveland or Atlanta). Jordan was always there to torment him at the end.

  • err, why does mj have "45" on his back?

  • @kalisperis so much to learn little one

  • 5:22 enough said, ''all that is missing from this picture is Craig Ehlo'' LMAO sad!

  • I love how he hit the gamewinner and left the court as soon as he could.

  • thank god for jordan and shaq, much of the nba in the late 90's was unwatchable

  • Wow really? You didn't like watching guys like Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson, Stockton, etc??

  • to me, none of the guy have the gravitas, the "it" that jordan and shaq had. I am a die hard fan so I watched a lot of basketball and they were great players for sure, but none of the people on that list you gave me would draw the casual fan. but now, I think the nba is back so to speak. those guys weren't icons. Now w/ lebron, kobe, wade, and on and on, those guys are icons and the face of the leauge. just my opinion but the ratings tell the story

  • I know what you're saying, but is drawing the casual fan really a good measure of whether great ball was being played?

You seem like you know your stuff, and thus aren't just the casual fan, so why was it unwatchable for *you*?

  • well, I think what the die hard fan like myself and a casual were both able to see that during the 90's as a whole, I'm not talking about the greats that u mentioned but as a whole, there seemed to be a diminishing of skill, talent, and just basic fundamentals. it was just less entertaining also. the lock-out didn't help. you have to admit, the 99 finals with the knics and spurs was pretty bad. if mike hadn't come back, we would have had a lot of "jazz vs pacers" finals w scores in the 70's

  • Here are some allstars from the 90's that didn't do it for me, (off the top of my head) Larry Johnson, Steve Smith, Glen Rice, Glenn Robinson, Vin Baker, Mitch Richmond, Brad Daugherty, Derrick Coleman, Kenny Anderson, Nick VanExel. (all i can think of for now), they just weren't exciting and compelling to me. I'll put it this way, the mid to late 90's and early 2000's were severly lacking the supestar power we have today. they had stars and good players but few icons

  • What icons does the NBA have now that trump the 1's we had in the 90's? The only superstars considered icons that weren't superstars in the 90's are Kobe and LeBron.

  • @chozinwun816 There aren't any icons now.

  • @chozinwun816: WTF?!? and todays is watchable? LOL.. There will never be at better decade than the 90's... todays its all about show.

  • if u read my post i said the late 90's. i meant after mj left. and ur right, lebron, wade, dwight and others have brought back the "show" to the nba. i don't think that is a bad thing. that's what magic and bird did in the early 80's.

  • hah, Visitor game and still the crowd is His'

  • i have always loved that little stutter step mike does at 5:00. that was so sweet. i did that one time in a game and made a 16 foot jumper just like mike. he used to do that a lot in his younger days too.

  • no #21, no chance for the Hawks.

  • was atlanta strong 95?

  • He is back!!!!

  • look at the uniform 22 foot 3 point line dont know if i loved or hated that

  • I remember going to see MJ play the hawks in 98 at the georgia dome when 65,000 people was at the game. When MJ and the bulls came out to warmup the crowd went crazy. There were more Bulls fans in Atlanta then Hawks!! And MJ put on a show.

  • ah yes! i was at that game too....ur so right, more people were cheering for chicago...i still cant get over how many cameras you would see flashing everytime MJ touched the ball....i have been trying to find that game to watch it again...most people never knew but MJ shots his last free throw left handed in that game

  • I Love Johnny 'Red' Kerr! I remember this like yesterday. The reaction was so hillarious!!!! I loved it!

  • POSTER 3:14

  • THE GOAT

  • it was like home game for bulls :)

  • Still one of my favorite Jordan calls:

    "Jordan for the win... YES!!!"

  • R.I.P. Johnny "RED" Kerr..We will miss ya

  • "Lenny Wilkens must be slitting his wrists" - Johnny Red Kerr

    LOL.

Listen to the ATLANTA crowd cheer for Jordan.

You will never see something like that again.

  • rip red and norm

  • even the fans on the road cheer for him wow.

  • Haven't seen anyone greater since he left. AMAZING. After taking essentially 2 years off as well.

  • @4Show81 TWO WORDS-----------DERRICK ROSE!

  • When MJ dunks on ppl.... he DUNKS on ppl not like go up and throw it in... he SMASHES IT IN check at 3:13 then u would understand

  • yeah. I know what you mean. He really FLUSHES in hard cuz of those strong wrists he got. Dont forget the dunk on Ralins at the omni against atlanta in 1986 I believe. He really SPIKED that one hard at the last minute too. here is the link.

    /watch?v=eW4uhJ9Pq-U

  • Its crazy how all da Hawks fans were rootin' fa Jordan and da Bulls to win.

  • I had not heard the duo of Wayne Larrivee and Johnny Red Kerr covering the Bulls for several years... classic!!

  • Incredible, it gives me chills.

I remember seeing this game, hearing the crowd react, and forgetting this was a road game for the GOAT and the Bulls.

  • wow.....a month and 22 days after I was born....

  • u wanna cookie?

  • mj get paid mj jacket

  • I love when the announcer says, "the only thing missing in this picture is craig ehlo" so true! hahahah

  • Sad but true... the only thing Ehlo is remembered for is for being at the other end of Michael's routines...

  • i think this is one of jordans more special moments of his career. it not only said 'yes, i really am back' but to see the fans reactions is priceless. everyone with a ticket to that game was there for one reason, to see michael jordan. and he delivered. they went nuts for a game winning shot against the home team. i can't imagine that ever happening again in any sporting event ever.

  • i was looking for this game for about a year

  • Only time you'll ever see the home crowd going crazy over an opposing player that just hit a buzzer beater.

  • actully, they cheered for him throughout the whole game.

  • I remember watching this live on wgn when they actually used to show bulls games. The 55 pt against the knicks I recalled came a few nights later.

  • the dunk at 3:14 was so vicious. it almost got me out my seat. i love the lil stutter steps jordan was doing before he hit the game winner. mike was out there dancing on these cats. lol.

  • The home crowd went nuts when he hit that shot, lol.

  • yeah,I,ve noticed that too.Michael was respected in almost every NBA arena, treated as a national hero, not as opponent.Even in MSG-it was combination of hostility and admiration.

  • it's all about the respect for what michael brought to the game. with him out for two seasons, and this being his comeback run, all of the arenas respected him to cheer that much for him (not so much in the playoffs, naturally).

  • all arenas his been in he's totally respected... anywhere on this planet all eyes is on MJ at all times...

  • JORDAN 45?

  • His comeback number. He changed it back to #23 later in the playoffs when they played the Magic.

  • oh...

  • isnt it awful that there are people out there who dont know this cause there wasnt born. By the way: There will be no one like him again. Trust me.

  • Comment removed

  • wasn't born during the jordan days.

  • he should have kept that number. he could have had it retired along with 23

  • Way to not double team the best player in the league with the time winding down. Pure stupidity. Awesome shot at the end.

  • It wouldn't have mattered, the results would have been the same.. Bull Win!!

  • I was actually at that game. My first time and last time seeing Jordan in the NBA.

  • u lucky motha!!

  • one of my favorite MJ games to say the least

  • finally someone who understands me... today most people are brainwashed that kobe is the best because they forget about the old players

  • Comment removed

  • listen, and you can hear the stadium music still playing as he brings it up the court

  • he is now back!!!! imma say this when my depression goes away

  • this was the last year MJ used his old, beat you off the dribble attack mode. He changed his workout activity and went to his patent fade away shot more after this season...thus resulting in his second threepeat!

...also i like to say that Michael Jackson used to make fans FAINT during his concerts around the world; MJ is the only player I know that would make the OTHER TEAM'S FANS cheer when he makes a game winner. Truly the GOAT!

  • Last time he wore 45. I was at that game.

Everyone was there to see him, see the *unreal*; but at the time, all of the idiot pundits/announcers were deriding him, "he's lost a step", "he shouldn't have come back", etc. It looked glum - *down to the last 5 seconds!*

The place exploded when he made that shot; a truly special, unique feeling to experience: every last person there was at the end of that game was *truly happy.* We'd all seen a real super hero, and he came through in the end.

  • it wasn't the last time he wore 45...he last wore it after the first game of the 2nd round of the '95 playoffs after losing to Orlando....he had a pretty big fine for getting his retired number...somewhere around $100,000 i think...

  • LOL I love hearing Red Kerr on those MJ game winning jumpers. Nothing beats the feeling of this old man going crazy.

  • agreed

  • @zwfwrestling holy mackerel! will never forget his voice :)

  • I remember watching this game, and knowing that there was absolutely no way the Hawks were going to win.

  • I remember the old Pac Man Hawks logo..better than the one now.

  • I remember this game like it was yesterday..

  • One of the great moments in the great career of Michael Jordan! Smith gave him too much room to operate at the end.

  • The dunk at 3:13, I remember jumping off the couch.

  • The excitement of those days is never coming back.

  • I loved when he returned the first time, it was like the excitement of watching basketball was back.

  • MJ just turned every run game into his home game. lol

  • every road game*

  • I've always loved the quickness of the spin and how he nearly breaks Augmon's ankles with it at 2:18. lol

  • Great post, thank you.

  • "He is now back!!" LOL!! This was my sophmore year in collge. I was in my dorm room watchin this & when he hit that game winner, I knocked my drink over unto my radio & messed it up LOL!!

  • Great edit my man, this is an awesome game.

  • I thought it was a bulls home game the way the fans were !!

What a great display from MJ, such vertical leap on his dunks... on only his 4th game back ?!

  • what kind of disloyal fans are these!!!!!!!Lol

  • its amazing to me how loved MJ was ... i've never seen a player who could hit a buzzer beater to win the game AWAY and have the entire away crowd erupt with excitement and joy at their team losing . its unbelievable

  • Atlanta has some horrible fans, they don't show up at games and when they do its because another team is in town

  • to jaboo82681: I've been to several Hawks home games (I've seen Jordan twice and Kobe twice) and let me tell you, if you were there, you didn't know if you were in Atlanta or LA/CHI lol!

  • Everyone loves Jordan...That doesn't make ATL's fans horrible...Jordan got that type of love everywhere expect CLE, DET, and NY.

  • i've watched him live in MSG in NY and they love him there too.

  • Damn... that dunk at 3:14.......

  • shit FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yea, I was waiting for this, also.
