DVD- domestic violence documentary was a pretty good acronym anyway. better than 'Dante's Virgin of Divinity', lol. that's something i came up with last time when my computer teacher asked us what DVD stands for. lol.

asd310627: what did you expect? they are not professionals, but busy secondary school students who took up this challenge anyway regardless of the huge amounts of homework, assignments etc. they only had a limited amount of time and please, don't even think about money. at least they did some research and did interviews, and you're complaining about the acting?! wth? can you do any better?

On the whole I think this a good effort for Hong Kong students. A little touch up on the editing but they dared to go a tackle a real problem issue within HK society and it shows that these problems are growing.

I suggest to make a Cantonese version that will show to the wider HK audience. It should help in some way.

Pure display wide open on the internet of Hong Kong's (lack of) talent. Normally they keep that internal to Hong Kong, giving themselves awards and shit, but here it's open for the whole world to see and judge.

I'm not judging... But I let you judge from the comments before and after this one.

darthajack: so i guess one advantage of studying overseas other than Hong Kong is that foreign students get more exposure to everything, they are better at certain things but that doesn't mean Hong Kong students are no lesser than students anywhere else.

retron1: this might be crap. it might be pathetic. but at least they did their best... they might not be experts in making documentaries, but each of them have their own talents, their own strengths and weaknesses. for Heaven's sake, they are only f.6 students (that's like gr12), try fucking them you would be thrown to jail. please do not judge them so casually, you will regret.

that is why students does not really put anything in their head, here in hk. they only focus to get the Certificate after the exam and gamble-like their life, and time, to go to University. And when they fail to, they would be so depressed and be full of pressure.  i think the Chinese School in hk, to consider about this.

and most chinese schools, just focus on making the students go to exams, and just wait for their results, fail or not, they wont care, at least they've showed their SchoolHead, that they've did their job and spend their time for the students. Some secondary students could not even succeed to go University, when they worked so hard so some suicide, end up in Triad society, etc.

most kids in hong kong studying in Chinese Primary schools does not even know how to do or finish their own homeworks at home, most parents always had to do it for them. Even most teachers from Chin. School just keeps on writing and writing on the blackboard, and then go hang out homeworks to the young students. it seems like the teachers just write thousands of words a day in the blackboard and just wait for their salary. yes, there are efficient teachers in hk, but less!!

well, family problems..no one can solve it but them family members themselves. Neither Social Welfare or being detained in Prison.

Moreover, being in Prison is not the answer to punish them to change them or to avoid them away from their family or others. Being in prison will lock you, but will only make you "MORE WORSE THAN BEFORE, when you're Discharged" alot of family problems and violence in Hong Kong, cause most parents just go no ENOUGH caring and tensions for their children.
