@Jaliband Noir films took place any where from New York to San Francisco, depending on the film --and France and England had their Noir films based in London and Paris. I'm not certain what you mean about curling our "r's. It depends on what region you are from. For example in Indiana some pronouce Car -- Cour. But the accent is not distracting to me, but it doesn't sound like any American accent or even like he's trying to sound American to me.
@Jaliband Canadian or American from which region? Different accents across both countries. He just sounds like "Noel Clarke" to me, so I didn't notice any particular 'accent" And I don't know about clarity in setting Matt Savage says it was shot on location in London written for an English short film festival or something.
The visuals were great, but as others said the storyline wasn't exactly stellar. Clarke also puts on a pretty bad American accent, so he needs to see someone about improving that.
I'd still be interested if this makes it to a feature length film, but there needs to be a good script behind it first.
@epiphoney I love mythbusters.. but it ain't exactly hard science. In this case I'd agree that it's "Unlikely" but not impossible. I think you could get fried if you were unlucky. In other words.. I'd never trust mythbusters enough to piss on a powerline ;-)
interesting! i'm looking forward to seeing where this leads! :)
nice little piece of film, although make-up could've been done better, and perhaps we need subtitles for the barely comprehensible, cylon-sounding robot! :p
fantastic, kind of sad that Noel's character had to die with his dick out and in his hand though... well, logically that's how he really died, movie magic had it all back in its place.
the urination aspect ruined it.

Oh and I forgot to mention. To quote the Ren and Stimpy show, "Don't pee on the electric fence."

I love the robot, he looks like a bunch of old time microphones slapped together on an old time coffee dispenser.

effects were amazing but the story was weird and i couldn't understand the robot

With much work on the story telling , you all could be a hit... It's interesting how he call's the robot a person...
Fantastic work on the visuals..

If you freeze it on the newspaper, you will find a story referring to the N Y courts,
so I would assume it's set in New York

@Mullers What makes you think that was supposed to be an American accent? It's not an American film.

Pretty cool. Mythbusters showed you practically have to have horse piss though for it to conduct.

Riddled with cliches, and a fairly blatant rip-off of Autamata from Penny Arcade, but very nicely presented. 3.5 out of 5

Nice Idea. Need to tweak the audio levels to make the dialogue clearer. Poss a little film effect to to make it more 'period'

Props to Noel Clarke. That man must be the most hard working person in British film at the moment.
