WebCamMax is capable of doing exactly this, but as Chris said - it does have its fair share of instability and does not make the final image as "pretty"

yes, my next computer WILL be a mac, there just soo expensive, and yes windows software does suck, i think its cuase windows developers secretly love macs and purposely make windows software suck to make the end-users end up choosing a mac. yes i think it is a conspircacy. and sorry for my typos.

I imagine you could use mIRC or XChat on Windows, strip the interface elements for that minimalistic look, and maybe add a few scripts to tweak the look of the chat. With scripts, the possibilities are endless.

Good on you, though for the Colloquy/Camtwist combo. It works and that's all that matters, right?

None to do the stuff he does with the PIP setting to show the chat like he does.

WebcamMax is a program for windows, but it falls short compaired to Mac OS X's bundled programs.

You lose credibility when you say all PC software sucks. Also you go so far to say the OUTPUT will be crap. This is comical. I use Toxik 2k7, Vegas Pro and cleaner everyday, and the output is jaw dropping. Macs are nice, this is not a anti-mac response, just a "hey" :)

i use camtwist on all my Macs, its a great program ! Very user friendly, and very powerfull. There is no supplement that works as great and as easily.

Actually, windows doesn't suck at all. It is just the user who is causing the damage, if you don't understand computers get a Mac; if you do, buy a windows PC or make one, they can do everything, it just that some users are too stupid to use a computer properly. Don't forget that chris is sponsored by Apple and will say things in BIAS to this.
