@LolMagic321 Ok, here's the deal, and pass this along to any other Ps3 player you see.

You need to make maps on PC, you can play them on Ps3, not on Xbox though. You need to learn a rather advanced tool called "hammer" to make maps. To make maps you need to own Portal 2 for the PC, as all of you Ps3 players do. The Portal 2 SDK (hammer version that allows Portal 2 maps)

People have done a workaround (buggy) now.

This map is not a Portal 2 map, it's a portal 1 map. Only available for the PC.

@WeezywayneCorpVEVO You placed the textures in the wrong place. Follow the location of the files compared to the compressed file. (Ex. What ever is in materials/models in the compressed file is what should go in your portal file with the same file location after portal/portal.

I downloaded this Portal 2 mod, but it doesn't work.. here's why:

I downloaded the game when it came from the free weekend, so it didn't come with Source SDK. So, I did the same thing I did with Portal Prelude (which worked): put the files in to folder in Portal folder and made a .bat that says: call hl2.exe -game "portal 2" "portal 2" being the name of the folder that I put this in, hl2.exe being what launches. when i launch, it says GameInfo not found. How do I fix it? Thanks!

@Slurpinator1 Its not a mod, Put it in your normal Portal file.

@Slurpinator1 If you have a mod called "Portal 2", you can put the files in their. Also, If you have free Portal, I heard that Portal mods will not work correctly.

Loved this great work! Btw, I completed it without this tutorial. Hehe. Great work. What's up with the sound of the portal gun in this? And why is there no crosshair coz I had the same trouble. Also, how'd you manage to get the chamber bits with the suction tubes and the turrets? Coz it's more or less the same as the trailer. Nice work!

I have Portal 2 sounds in a separate mod from Portal. Also I do have a crosshair but its a + only. Look on the comment on your vid, I told you how to get it back.

its nice but, still, you should have the mechanisms like the stairs move at the speed of the sound of the mech so it doesn't take more than the length of the sound to finish moving, making it more realistic. But nice remake I must say

I downloaded the update you link us to in the description, and downloaded the original in the read me. In the update download, in maps/reepblue, is it supposed to be portal2_demomap_particles(dot)­txt(dot)txt, or just portal2_demomap_particles(dot)­txt? Because the file is (dot)txt(dot)txt for some reason. o-O

i have a mac and although i can play portal, the file system does not have a "merge" capability, so when i downloaded your map, and the extra files, and the patches, i do not think i got all the files exactly where they are supposed to be. the button sounds don't work, and neither do the portal sounds, or the little trees... i can send you some of the console error messages... i did try to figure out places for most of the files, and it mostly works...

It's werid to see the map played driffent ways to the way yourself plays if however I'm guessing that's how you wanted the puzzles completed. However that last bit took me about 10-15minuets to figure out now I'm scared of what portal two will really be like.

@Phillip1410 because the blue gel uses a console command to jump and a trigger_push to go up. But with the orange/yellow/red gel, there have to be more directions, not only up. You have to be able to run on it quickly in any direction.
