Are these the cliffs where Quadrophenia was filmed when Jimmy was on his scooter and he pushed it over? I'd think if you jumped off the sheer cliff bit you wouldn't survive - those who survive are the ones that land on a ledge.
@DWG9XT so u decided to do the best thing and post ur comment on youtube? well if ur gonna do it, DONT. Worst come's to worst, u wont die which will mean ur a failure at killing ur self and u may also be paralysed. Get some help.
I saw a recent interview with one of the local officers who regularly has to scoop up the remains of the sad people who decide to jump off the cliffs. He was very graphic when he described the remains of the people: "I think the people that commit suicide here tend not to realise what a mess they can end up in… we’ve actually had bodies that have been turned inside out; limbs come off; heads come off…”. Imagine having to live with that day in, day out!
@DimensionsofChange research tells us that people are more willing to commit suicide by a means that is considered highly succesful (Beachy Head has 99% chance of death). Forgive my spelling
@pinopinazza91 You're Forgiven, but I still don't forgive the depressives. Come on fill a car with canisters of gas and old fire works. Then drive as fast as possible into a big fire. It'll work, and you'll get attention. Not like you can take the money when you leave.
i live in brighton not far from eastborn yes there are suernatural things theres includeing a demonic monk i say demonic as its probs a demon in desguise as a mmonk to give would be jumpers false hope etc, ghosts of the dead seeing as they cant rest because of suicide etc and various other seen and reported things which isnt surpriseing when you think about what goes on up there
im 26 male and have seen alot of spooky shit over the years
i used to live in sussex in my early years i must have been only 5 or 6 when my perants took me thier life was good, but i rember i started havin really nasty nitemares of bein alone an lost up their like in some sort of cloud that i couldnt get out of very sinister dreams for a kid to have, im 25 now an i did very nearly get a one way ticket to eastborne last year if u know what in mean' glad i didnt.
Suicide is the most selfish act a human can do. Total disregard for the grief of family and friends is deplorable and contemptible. Doubly reprehensible is plunging over cliffs knowing that others have to pick up the pieces often at great risk to themselves. Ever tried dangling on a piece of rope over a 600 feet high cliff to try to save a suicide's life? Much suicide is a form of exhibitionism which went wrong. Not sure where that leaves us.
It's just as selfish for family and friends to expect a person to live in absolute hell, just to keep them happy. You can't live just for other people, do you even realise how hard it is to live like that!?
@ItsASuicideMachine if you're living with chronic illness, maybe. if it's psychological, however, you're likely to cause much more tangible and lasting distress by committing suicide than you would ever have had to endure.
Beachy Head, above the town of Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK is famed for its claim to be the first most suicidal spot in the world. I believe that there is a supernatural prescence there that lures people from all over the world who are feeling low to their death. The place may be a collector of souls.
oh that's funny at 3 minutes... when a friend is moaning about their life, we offer them taxi fare to Beachy Head.
for the doubters, go stand on the cliff edge and tell me there's nothing spooky. there's a major layline that runs thru Beachy Head, with a name like Kev the witch, i'm surpised the poster of this video doesn't know that.
No affence.. But i don't think theres any "Spiritual Energy" I just think the thought of 535 foot cliffs overlooking the sea is a high attraction when wanting a quick death. Coz' its not exactly hard is it.. Jump.. Splat.. Done..
Toxic is another of those things nature abhors - a vacuum. Whatever goes on in what passes for his mind is certainly not in the realms of rational thought. Suicides have little if any consideration for their own life or that of any other person. Why would they? Some choose to pass away peacefully and quietly. Others choose to make life as difficult as possible for all. Their relatives and friends, the police, fire service etc. in their exhibitionistic death.
I was thinking about this as a foolproof method but it seems it isn't.

The Golden Gate Bridge is the No 1 jumping off point, followed by a location in Japan and then Beachy Head.

One news headline (1:48) says he survived a 100 foot fall... The cliff is meant to be much higher than this?
looneygooner1 1 year ago
@looneygooner1 its because he landed on a ledge 100 foot down, thats why he lived.

So, jumping from Beachy Head is pretty much a guaranteed death?
Alchemy647 1 year ago
I'm going there to die myself over the week-end. My concern is not to involve anyone else or get anyone else hurt.

You could be right about it's siren call... morphic resonance or something more sinister ?
Throbbing gristle were photographed on one of their album covers, 20 jazz funk greats at beachy head. That poor man who survived. shuddersome.
Interesting post.

I don't understand why people would commit suicide in such a repedative way. Come on and have an original idea.

@vymmas It took 10 seconds for the people to fall and die in 9/11, so see how high that building is then put it against the cliff.

spiritual energy? maybe they just want to die?
less of a bullshit explanation really??
