  • If you play the wrong note, will the game let you hear what note you actually played?

  • @FoxFan12 Yes, there's no weird noise that guitar hero has or anything. You can put in as many extra notes as you want if you're feeling frisky, as long as you play the notes they want (for scores' sake).

  • Great job hope i can one day even come close to playing that good...

  • I dont know why this looks so hard, but when u actually play it its alot easier than you think

  • are there even songs with bar notes or is it just picking the same note fast

  • hey, how do you know what fret your on? it shows the six strings, but i dont understand the where it is your supposed to play them

  • im a guitar player already but im not sure if i should get this game ..... is its amp good and all ?

  • I dont need a game to learn to play guitar!

  • @DooMixedUp no one said that you did -_-

  • I got the game for christmas and I notice the difference already.... I just want to know will it help me play songs without playing the game?

  • @chrisbasketball10 yeah it will. you should try to play with inverted strings, cuz then later you can look up parts of the song you cant remember by looking up tabs on your phone or computer. i personally think that this will be the easiest way to learn.

  • @familyduenas this is going to sound stupid, but what how do you change to inverted strings? reply will be appreciated.

  • @chrisbasketball10 in game go to options and then change the string layout from standard to inverted

  • Hey man:)

I'm a beginner and thinking of picking this game up,

    would you recommend it?

Also is there any lag between the guitar and the game?

  • @DSAHOY there is no lag in between the guitar and the game. it will adjust to your skill level at any point of the song or in game whether you are doing good or you are feeling rusty

  • @DSAHOY

the game is kind of hard if you dont already know the songs but i would still recommend it cus you can use the game as an amp.

there is sound lag on some tvs which makes the game unplayable. i play on my lcd and its fine but cant play on my plasma.

  • @itzAnthonyMarciano i think its teaching me the songs so you dont neccasarilly need to already "know" the songs it teaches you pretty fast too

  • @itzAnthonyMarciano my tv is plasma and i can perfectly play it

  • @itzAnthonyMarciano there is a lag correction option in the options that u can adjust the lag according to ur tv =D

  • @itzAnthonyMarciano u can fix the lag, thetrs a lag fix option

  • @itzAnthonyMarciano I play on my Panasonic plasma and it's perfectly fine.

  • @DSAHOY I got the game a few days ago, its amazing how fast you can progress, I have never played guitar before and let me tell you its not easy, the game will adjust instantly the difficulty of the song depending on your performance, the lag is minimal but it can be adjusted, over all its a fun way to learn how to play guitar

  • @DSAHOY Get rockband 3 way better you need to buy a special guitar though

  • @DSAHOY im pretty sure you know this...but you can visit Rocksmith's website and they can tell you how to set it up. There's 3 different options you can chose from thats if your tv and xbox is compatible for, just giving you a reference.

  • How do you tremolo pick that quickly? I've never been good at picking fast but mine is not even anywhere near how fast yours is

  • @PegglePros

try using a thinner guitar pick if your not already using one. its easier with a thin pick in my opinion.

  • @PegglePros Are you sure you are alternate picking? (Using up- and downstrokes). Try moving with just your wrist and relax your arm muscles.

  • @PegglePros There are picks that are about half of the size of the average pick that are great for tremolo picking. When I was first learning tremolo picking and pinch harmonics, I found it a lot easier using those picks

  • @PegglePros The game has tutorials that teach how to tremolo.

  • 14000'th viewer !!! holla

  • glad I watched this vid....makes complete sense to have the strings in lefty mode if you're used to reading tab.

  • Its called "Left Handed" bunch retards...

  • @CameronJantzi Hes not playing lefty at all...

  • @CameronJantzi no its not. not at all. you obviously dont see where real life tab reading comes into real life guitar playing. who is the retard now?

  • you can flip the strings????

  • What kind of guitar are you using? Sounds like a banjo sometimes.

  • inverted strings? may i ask why?

  • @herpinurderp

its easier that way cus thats how guitar tabs are laid out with the low stings on bottom

  • @herpinurderp Inverted strings should have been the default in this game. It is unbelievable how much playing like this will help you once you decide to go learn some tabs (which are written with the red string on the bottom, the low E string).

  • @herpinurderp The logic is that when you look down at your guitar that's how it looks. (upside down)

I wish I thought to flip it befor I started playing it. Would have made picking up tab easier.. oh well.

  • Well done, love this game :)
