The first time I played Dead Space I played it with only the plasma cutter. You get it maxed out pretty fast and you get plenty of ammo, + the trophy. Im going to do the same with this one, second playthrough with more weapons, 3rd with the unitologist suit (from the limited edition), 4th for trophys, and 5th for hardest difficulty, 6th + for videos and improving my skills. Don't think I will be playing multiplayer very much.

Go through the game 1st playthrough on hardest difficulty same time you do the plasma cutter trophy or whatever weapon we start off with in this second one if it is a trophy. I'm just saying cuz right now i have no clue what I have to deal with in Dead Space 1 atm and i'm using only plasma and playing hardest difficulty available unless hard is hard and that's it then w.e.

@Acurian Playing Dead Space 1 on the Hardest Difficulty off the bat is very bad idea..especially since u don't know what ure up against .o.O You Are Goin To Die.OVER & OVER & OVER & OVER & OVER until u get pissed off at the game :( You should try the plasma cutter achievement on a lower difficulty or at least wait till u beat it once so u can fully upgrade the Cutter so it actually does decent damage (remmember ammo upgrades refill ure empty gun & this game ammo is like gold hard to find)

We're at the end already using the plasma cutter health isn't maxed cutter is, suit 5, maxed force grab w.e it's called and stasis is just under max missing one from each, and if it weren't for limited time me & my friend would have had the boss dead right now. Don't get me wrong but the game was still fairly easy we got stuck at the part with the 'immortal' mutant and the med room too many unexpected mutants. The game has stasis, so it's not hard, sorry.
