hey just had my surgery done 3 days ago. so far i have had only one sleepless night. near to no pain. Just the normal stifness in the lower jaw. What I have is i had my upper jaw moved upwards, my lower jaw forwards, and my chin forwards as well! I have had a lot of swelling but so far it's going down pretty well. I'm able to talk, however, I'm not able to smile. Which i hate not being able to do. Do you have any skype or msn, cause i have a thousand questions for you! glad to see you doin okay!
I hope to talk to you because in my case will help me a lot psychologically! hahaha if you can pass your msn, skype or anything like that for me to communicate later! here is quite unusual to know people who went through this whole process! YOU WITH YOUR VIDEOS certainly contributed much to what I am now going through it! Although the vast distance of Brazil until then! Thanks again. I hope to talk to you further ahead! some fear of it all. but let's move on!

But I tried to fix my problem with conventional devices and treatments, after five years decided that it was hopeless. My operation is in December this year!

Thanks for the update. I'm about 16 months after mine right now, and you're right it did take some time to settle, it took me a while to learn my smile again and to feel natural, also the mental aspect of having the new jaw takes your brain a little while to realize you look different standing in a line up or anywhere.. you just look more confident so you need to feel that inside too.
