  • We're not talking about racism. We're talking about practice. It's about clapping on the snare, not the kick. We're talking about practice. Lock it down people. We're not talking about racism. We're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. lol

  • Racism has never been so entertaining... Great video

  • "it's different!"

    love this track.

  • i can't get enough of this it cracks me up. kill whitey! LOL!!!

  • This is Black Liberation Theology. Voters should at the very least read James Cone, it is required reading at Trinity. Liberation Theologies always use the bible to give it authority, but trash it when it counters their cause. As you will learn it is about class struggle, Marx with a religious twist, "collective Salvation". Rich Oppressor, Poor Oppressed. Salvation to all via wealth redistribution and social engineering. Once you know about BLT, you can see how it has shaped Obama's policies.

  • Funk emphasizes the 1 and 3 beats. Has Jeremiah ever heard of James Brown ?

  • It's funny because you people really can't clap in unison and certainly not on the 2 and the 4.

  • So someone is going to clap on every beat.

    From many claps, one.

  • Really one of my fave vids on youtube... I'm shocked it doesn't have 1 million+ views

  • LOL this is awesome

  • he's a genious ... chuck love power

  • This is some hilarious shit to me. I never realized the 1-3, 2-4 thing. I just knew it was some kind of rythm thing. LOL

  • the whole thing is stupid... the difference isn't the dominant beat... the dominant beat in 4/4 is ALWAYS on beats 1 & 3, regardless of the type of music or who's singing it. the difference is that in certain styles of music (yes, mostly black-originated music) it is tradition to emulate the snare drum instead of the kick drum. tadaaa.

  • @PRIMEx420 You're full of shit. The dominant beats in blues, rock and roll, jazz and all of the other popular music that black folks invented are the 2 and the 4. Chuck Berry explained this to you people (and John Lennon reiterated it) in "Rock & Roll Music." "It's got a backbeat, you can use it, any old time you choose it."

  • @Hoopermazing first of all, kindly fuck your mother. secondly i'm not sure what YOU mean by "dominant", but could you please explain why the kickdrum in ALL music always lands on 1 and (except for in 3/4 time) on 3? Also, what's this "you people" nonsense? What ethnicity do you think I am?

  • @PRIMEx420 Eat shit and die, retard. The backbeat, with the accent on the downbeats (i.e. the 2 and the 4) has been the de facto pulse of American popular music for a century. To suggest otherwise is absurd. Now, if your objection was about Latin music, then you'd have a leg to stand on. But, as it stands, you're a joke. And, I don't give a rat's ass about your ethnicity. In your case "you people" stands for musically inept assholes in general.

  • @Hoopermazing Dear fatherless faggot, I like how you're trying to sidestep my question with a bunch of parallel but non-causal facts. Answer my question. Btw, fuckwad, go check out my uploads if you think I'm musically inept.

  • @PRIMEx420 Shit-for-brains, I didn't "sidestep" anything. Allow me to reiterate. For the past 100 years, American popular music has had the accent on the downbeats. If you must reference a drum for whatever reasons, you clap on the same beats as the snare. Google the phrase "Backbeat transformation of simple 4/4." As to your uploads, they only support my accusation of your musical ineptness, and I have no desire to further subject myself to that cacophonous bullshit.

  • @Hoopermazing shit-for-brains? really? i guess u've already started reaching. anyway, between felching ur parents u should go back and re-read what i said about the "dominant" beat. it might then make sense why i bring up the kickdrum (may want to think about why it's a lower freq drum, and why we're not using the snare on downbeats, instead). but that's just in case u're actually interested in what i was saying originally, before u started vomiting up unrelated facts. btw, where's YOUR music?

  • @PRIMEx420 Dear Prime, YouTube is serious business

  • @Y0uEnj0yMyself Noted.

  • that's just funny!

  • 1 and 3 is not 2 and 4....IT'S DIFFERENT!!!!! LOL

    Genius! Awesome video.

  • ROFLMAO.... holy shit :-)

  • While I'm not a supporter of Jeremiah Wright nor his black liberation theology I have learned that it is important to understand the context of ones words. Even the thing he said way back when it all got started about "God Damn America", once i listened to the WHOLE sermon, when i watched THIS whole speech and understood his context, there was nothing "Racist" about it, indeed the guy is a jerk and his delivery is shady, but he was speaking facts in proven studies.. Great vid tho! Loved it!

  • I agree, but he's still an idiot. It was completely inappropriate to sing a song about a 'weakness' about a certain race(especially for no real reason). I don't get why he would do that. There was no reason. Crazy old man.

  • I don't think that it's a weakness. It's just a very broad difference in music and rhythm between white and black people.

  • that's why it was in qoutations, I couldn't think of a better word, as sad as that may sound

  • I agree with the whole difference vs weakness thing; I would just make one important distinction - the difference isn't between the music of white and black PEOPLE - the difference is between the music of black and white CULTURES (as they are right now). Let's not forget that most american music which the good Reverend Retard would call "white" is actually derived from the music of early black american culture - jazz, blues, funk, etc. The actual genetic dif between blacks and whites is near 0.

  • weakness?

  • yes 'weakness'. Despite the fact that I'm fairly articulate, I couldn't think of a better way to describe it than weakness in quotations.

  • well then I don't know how articulate you are, since the word is obviously "difference", not "weakness". At no point does he say that one way is worse than the other, in fact at one point he says the words, "it's DIFFERENT". The whole thing is of course very retarded and the topic couldn't be more trivial, but one thing it is NOT, is "insulting" to anyone with half a brain... so try to relax, and in the future don't be so eager to bunch up your own panties.

  • Eager to piss off strangers much?
