  • He's underrated, in my opinion, really because his lack of consistency. I know a lot of people enjoy his experimental stuff, but personally, I think he has some insane songs or even albums that he pulls out of a long line of...well not as good stuff. It's just the natural course of things when you produce so MUCH work, of course, there's gonna be a few flops and a few greats.

Of course, to him and most of his fans all of his songs are good, but I'm just sayin that's what blocks the "ratings" etc

  • @1234gnrslash Actually that would be so interesting to see what he himself thinks of his own songs. Too bad he doesn't exactly release a lot information -.- oh well

  • daaaaaamn what an ending that song's got! gives me good vibes. ty buckethead!!

  • amazing emotion

  • Always orgasm in this song....ALWAYS.

  • @julioreyram Haha....gross

  • @Bangoustine Acoustic guitars is noice? .. Yea fuck them noisy people. Pft.. Segovia is so effin' noisy, that bastard

  • i swear i have half the views for this vid

  • Listening To Buckethead is like ... I don't know, the music lets the air become water and you begin to float in it and with it.

I swear to god, If the world would fall to pieces I would not even care while listening to this.

  • Listened to this after watching Paranormal Activity 2 and OMG perfect ending with a good theme song :D

  • One person did not enjoy this song, thus he/she disliked it.

  • this is just like a pale rainbow after a stormy day I can remember such days [for me]

  • the first time i heard this song i thought 'i wish it didn't end like this'. But doesn't this song kind of feel like an experience that went just like that? Something that became a part of your life, you had the highest hopes for, and it all ended in the blink of an eye?

  • @VilleSkateKrewRep Replay it, again and again. I've literally listened to this song over 700 times.

  • @RagingK9Fury i have haha. this and the real diamond in the rough album, fantastic!

  • @VilleSkateKrewRep I have that as well. I think it's fair to say that most (if not all) of Buckethead's gentler guitar stuff is just freaking amazing.

  • this is so fucking amazing, such an underrated guitarist/song in my opinion

  • where the hell was i when this thing was there..!!!!

buckethead kills so many ppl he just takes their souls.... and fill his songs with it....

amazingly uncomparable with anythng i've heard so far....

  • underrated...

  • get this video off the playlist! every night i gotta get up cuz i cant wait two minutes. kharma will get you!

  • I thought I was dying.......maybe I did...in someway......thanks buckethead...

  • anyone else notice the DEAD AIR?

  • Dead air fixed: rezound

  • i disliked it. now kill me.

  • @thepalmetto we are the lucky few isn't that really all that matters?

  • SO EPIC >>>

  • de mais essa música

  • I don't think Buckethead will ever be rated in a top ten liste of best guitarist of all time, and I feel it is truly a tragedy to music. He is underrated and underappreciated.

  • @thepalmetto well, what some ppl use to call music some others just call it "comercial shit to get good money out of it " =D.. And I think they won't ever give feedback to his music cause , obviously music for them is just a money-making way , so they won't ever recognize this beautiful music as that cause only a song from this man could make they'r comercial garbage look just like that.. pure comercial shit =D

  • all his music has a story to be interpreted by anyone

  • He´s really amazing.

  • @Simonizeyourself he has much feeling in his play

  • @linusret

who the hell cares whats on wikipedia. wikipedia is pure bull O.o

  • He's over 40 years old? Age really isn't a variable to his fans when he has a mask to hide it. Some day he's going to pass away and we will all be like "WHY MUST THE GOOD DIE YOUNG?!?!" And his agent will be like "Dude he was 97." and we will say "oh."

  • @Fishstixj4l u fail, for gods dont die

  • @spirkan oh yeah! derrrr

  • @Fishstixj4l dont talk about that :(

  • @Brentypooz oh yeah dude. your telling me. :) LOL

  • @Fishstixj4l Huh? :L

  • @Fishstixj4l Buckethead won't die. He just won't. Ever. lol

  • @UnknownSect333 he wont. hes totally a robot. totally....

  • buckethead might be the best virtuoso song writer ever.

  • OK, 1 person needs to die. Buckethead is amazing, nuff shit said.

  • The song does not stop at 2:59. What buckethead plays after that is beyond human understanding.

  • Comment removed

  • He has so much humanity and soul in his music. Tremendous talent uninhibited by being himself anonymous. Its not fair to compare him to other players. He has a very unique signature sound. Players from all sorts of genres are listening to his playing.. Evolving with every output. Cant wait to hear whats next

  • buckethead and slash have nothing to do with each-other besides GNR.

    you guys make me RAAAAGE

  • Next person that compares Buckethead to Slash is going to get a rocket to the face. Mmm'kay!

  • @jrdudedj I think slash is more slow and melodic and buckethead is more shreddy, though deffinitely still melodic.

    I like rockets! Lol :)

  • I just read on wikipedia that Buckethead is 41 years old! Daaamn.. I thought he was way younger then that..Doesn't really matter tho, his music is still awesome.

  • This music is just amazing

  • 1:50 - 2:20 is just mind-blowing. Especially that note stream at 2:00.

  • this is so badasssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • buuucket pleease come to Argentina!

you have lots of fans here that want to see you live at least once in our life! :(

you're the best bucket no other guitarrist makes me feel so full of life as you do

  • the best high

  • Just heard this song for my first time today, and I've already decided that it's my new favorite.

  • Wow this is cool and really a brilliant title too

  • @LostandRecovered. Yap, you´re absolutely right. E major is, like, the first choice to write a beautiful song. A and B major also amazing keys to write in. You get the open strings option a lot, and that adds up to the beauty of a composition

  • @tweenboxyeah D major too

  • All the most beautiful pieces of music are written in Emajor/C#minor

  • Slash?, fuck you. is Buckethead!

  • @vampirobrm yeah many people will agree buckehtead is better. One great quote from Dave Mustaine is "Buckethead is a better guitarist than me and slash combined" Aside from that Slash has even admitted himself that Buckethead is better than him.

  • @ZebrasFromHell You think Buckethead would like you comparing him to other guitarists?

  • Bucket haz una gira por latinoameria! :D

  • Only one dislike!? You know the song it`s good when only one person doesn`t like it.

  • 2:00 on blew my mind. WHAAAAT.

  • @gangstershizzl 28 albums*

    34 counting special releases*

35 counting special releases and LP's*

  • @SonataArctica1212

    plus his stuff with bands.

  • @SonataArctica1212 70+ counting albums he just contributed to.

  • the guy that put don't like, have clicked wrong!! XD(sory the bad english, I'm from brazil)

  • @lukasLP100 I think what your trying to say is that the person who clicked dislike made a mistake and actually meant to click like.

  • can someone please tell me where i can find this cd? i need it! lol

  • @lordofrandomness4 Let me know if you find out, cuz I am looking also. It's a shame there is such limited record distribution for his material. Anyone can go buy a beatles or michael jackson cd at the nearest walmart. AND WE CAN'T GET ANY FUCKING BUCKETHEAD?! WTF GAY. Well I know where to find some, just not this damn album.

  • @lordofrandomness4 try tdrsmusic or amazon

  • OMFG!!!

    This song is amazing!(Rephraseing)

Buckethead is amazing and it pisses me off when people talk shit about him i mean seriousy i dont know anyone that has made 27 albums and is still going strong I mean How are you gonna compare slash to buckethead!?

Slash is trash (Compared to buckethead!) There no where near on the same skill level.. And ill just leave it at this Slash<buckethead :D

  • 2:38-2:57 my favorite part, it just feels like the day picking up after something very tragic occuring but then you're finally able to find the beauty in something and it lifts you're mood up again.

  • What Cock Sucker Disliked This??

  • @Skullit2theMax WE SHALL KILL HIM!!

  • i really hate when all comments are replys...

anyway this song is so awesome it gives me feelings no other song gives me.

  • WHO THE FUCK DISLIKED THIS!?

  • There is alot of empty nothing after the song ends....

  • Great song, Buckethead never gets old

  • mehdi rak bézéééééééééééééééééééééééééééééééééééééf

  • Ladies and gentlemen, he's done it again!

  • What one cunt disliked this!

  • @frazbob1

    IT WAS SLASH!!!

  • @frazbob1 his names Justin Bieber

  • i like how he takes crazy sounds on a guitar hen makes it into aan album

  • I hope I get to see Buckethead in real life at least once, I am currently 14 and I live nowhere near where he does any of his concerts and I sure hope I catch one before it's too late.

  • @dman19851996 He hasn't done any shows in like 6 months, I believe he got injured in a car accident or something.

  • @Diffle No, he hurt his back, specifically a herniated disk.

  • @ShadowNinjaGhost Hurting your back, specifically a herniated disk, could occur in a car accident.

  • @Diffle Before you start acting stupid, specifically a smart ass, where is there any information supporting your claim that he got hit by a car? The only information released about his illness and what happened was given by Bootsy's tweets. Look them up, there is no information about a car accident, or anything else that happened specifically.

Just accept that he got a herniated disk, don't start rumors.

  • @ShadowNinjaGhost Sigh, I'm not being a smartass. I'm saying that injury could easily occur in a car accident. I'm not starting rumors, I'm spreading them. I read a comment that he was in a car accident. Either way, he's not playing due to an injury, car crash or not.

  • @Diffle Sorry man I didn't know that was the case, and I apologize. We both agree the song is awesome, right?

  • @ShadowNinjaGhost No doubt, and that's all that matters. I love Buckethead, especially his slower stuff like this.

  • BUCKET HEAAAAAAAAAAAD!

  • @bezeker12 INDEED BUCKETHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh my god that solo!

  • I love this song very beautiful

  • Sled Ride everyone!!

  • one of the most beautiful acoustic solos ever. check out the buckethead mix i made, it includes the solo from this song

  • oh my god beautiful...

  • el mjor album de buckethead, me gusta su sonido es mas sentimental, mas pensativo

arriba buckethead the best guitarist ever!

  • ...amazing

  • The beginning reminds me of something from the Spyro games, and I fucking love it. Probably one of my favorite songs!

  • this is just the melodic music i have been looking for.

  • greatest acoustic solo ever?

  • @crimsonflare506 Yes, yes it is.

  • @crimsonflare506 yup, one of the best ive heard.... prob THE best... even the build up.. kind nottingham lace sounding, yet acoustic

  • this song is far too short:(

  • This song reminds me of the Playstation 2 game "Dark cloud"

  • @DigitalxFe3r WTF?

  • @ofekt78 lol :) if you ever played that game you would agree it's one of the best games that ever came out

  • @DigitalxFe3r I fucking love that game!! lol funny thing i haven't thought of that game until you said something...i think im going to go play it now. :P

  • @maxthefax lmao ikr

  • SO FUCKING GOOD!

  • buckethead reveals himself through the gutiar

  • This is not an album, I call it a masterpiece.

  • Wow, this song is..Fabulous.

  • who the hell said u can't shred with an acoustic guitar!!!! getchu1

  • Shadows Between The Sky is excellent. I got the album last week and listen to it all the time. Buckethead is amazing.

  • buckethead's guitar is always happy!!

  • once again!!

  • o m g... i never listened to this one fully.. wow... one of my new fav's

  • I am a rapist.....an animal rapist that is, yeaaaa

  • know someone what effect he uses ?

  • @BAUZER94 on the leads it just sounds like acoustic

  • @BAUZER94 At about 2 mins? Sounds like a really wet envelope follower, maybe the EHX enigma riddle..

  • @guylcfc290 thanks but i mean the effect from the intro it isn't an effect?

  • many mainstream artists poop out several shitty albums each year, but with Buckethead, every Buckethead album is a true jem

  • @speaker3600 I second that

  • bucket is still beast when it comes to melodic music

  • ...and I love anything he does with Dan Monti. That guy's got vision. I'd still like to know who plays drums on The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock. Nobody's credited and the drumming is mind-bogglingly excellent. Does anyone know?

  • bucket did his own drumming

  • @RRfan761 Buckethead NEVER drums. He either gets programmed drums or he gets Brian Mantias (AKA Brain) to drum for him. I think he may have had a few others drum as well, but for the majority of his solo albums, it's either Brain or programmed.

  • @Diffle actually on ISOT he did all of the drumming, bass playing, and guitar playing on every track except Vol. 13 and I believe Vol. 2 track 2. He used the tamborine beat from "They're Coming to Take Me Away Ha-Haaa!"

  • @Diffle Pinchface is also often with him.

  • @KristyB5...TEMAC is almost entirely programmed drums if my ears aren't deceiving me...

  • @usefulschmidiot Say it ain't so.

  • @KristyB5 uh, it aint so???

  • @usefulschmidiot Some, but not all. You can tell where one leaves off and another begins.

  • I like 1:25 it sounds like music for an 80s action film. :D

  • Quality song

  • Just bought this. Buckethead is the only artist whos cd's I actually buy. Everyone else gets a cheeky download.

  • i love this album.the guitar work is classic "b" and also refreshing but i think the tracks should be longer.i love sea wall, sled ride, shadows and chaos a lot.

  • this is just another display of the guitar master of the last 20 years flexing his musical muscles

  • I just ordered this off TDRS. When I put it on in the car, I'm going to steer off the road and have an accident.

  • @KristyB5 I just lol'd pretty hard at this.

  • @niteshadowXx I only nicked a curb on the first day, but I think that's pretty good considering I was driving with my eyes rolled back in my head from the music.

  • Sounds like an acoustic guitar. Or maybe it's that nylon string with the cut away. Hmm maybe...

  • @ArnBucketeer

its an acoustic album u dick head !!!!!!!!!!

  • @1993mercer1993 How imature. Do you call people in real life who you don't know dick head as well?

It's not an acoustic album. There are parts and songs with electric guitar.

  • @ArnBucketeer Sorry about that comment someone else was using my account yesterday.

  • @ArnBucketeer

actually it's plausible to get this sound out of an electric guitar. i can get very close with my peavey transtube amp. either way this is a beautiful song.

  • haha Buckethead has done it again this song's awesome but thats you would expect from this genuis

  • solo at 1:53 kicks ass

  • this song makes me feel happy to be alive

  • this song makes me feel happy to be alive

  • this song is amazing is like the sound of a real diamond in the rough but it has more tecnique i like it

  • buckethead is one of the greatest music genious of this world

this album's music is so relaxing i just love it

  • this was the final album, im now done with all bucketheads album on swedish wikipedia. But he will probaly release a new soon :P I love him!

  • i love bh sentimental, soft , clean songs.. one of my favorite all time cd is colma

but in MY opinion this cd and a real diamond in the rough are nice sounded but boring

unlike colma or electric tears, i easyly get tired of listening to it

    its just an opinion

this songs have no personality except one or 2.. (shadows between the sky is one oh them)

you cant compare this tracks with wishing well , whitewash, witches on the heath , padmasana, spell of the gypses etc

i dont know what do you think?

  • I agree a little bit with you when you said A Real Diamond In The Rough is good but a bit boring.

But again, there's no way to match Colma in any possible way...

The album was pretty deep from the making to the release of it.

Anyways, i loved Shadows Between the Sky, it's really amazing and shows some changes in Buckethead 's musicianship.

I love it, he's taking another step foward and that amazes me the most... the guy has no limits.

  • I don't think A Real Diamond In The Rough was boring. You have to superimpose it over some activity or else it becomes background music pulled into the foreground where it doesn't belong. The first few times I listened to ARDITR I got pretty emotional. It's definitely my favorite by this master. Of course this new album is similarly momentus.

  • @ fluffypopcicle same here the first time I heard Jordan u was like WTF then I heard soothsayer and hills of eternity n loved it.
