He's underrated, in my opinion, really because his lack of consistency. I know a lot of people enjoy his experimental stuff, but personally, I think he has some insane songs or even albums that he pulls out of a long line of...well not as good stuff. It's just the natural course of things when you produce so MUCH work, of course, there's gonna be a few flops and a few greats.

Of course, to him and most of his fans all of his songs are good, but I'm just sayin that's what blocks the "ratings" etc

The album was pretty deep from the making to the release of it.

Anyways, i loved Shadows Between the Sky, it's really amazing and shows some changes in Buckethead 's musicianship.

I love it, he's taking another step foward and that amazes me the most... the guy has no limits.

I don't think A Real Diamond In The Rough was boring. You have to superimpose it over some activity or else it becomes background music pulled into the foreground where it doesn't belong. The first few times I listened to ARDITR I got pretty emotional. It's definitely my favorite by this master. Of course this new album is similarly momentus.
