  • I hope that's helpful. As a note I just want to mention when I was a young child I was nearly deaf. 75% deaf was my hearing, but it was music that brightened my life and made me want to live & made me happy after all else I experienced. Thanks to my Grandparents, eventually I was brought to special doctors and today after very many surgeries, my hearing is now described as 50% of normal. I have hearing aids and everything has to be turned way up, but I can hear it. I grew up loving Buffy's music.

  • Part 2. So take me to the place where poets go, when they take their final bows, and I promise I'll be ready on time, in fact, I'm ready now. But daily sense has taken leave of me,when you love, you will see it.Whoa oh, la da da da da da, la da da da da da, (with music keep repeating to fade). in the line daily sense has taken leave of me, I think Buffy is describing how when we are in love, sometimes we are carried away on our feelings of bliss) when you love, you will see it:(what she means).

  • Here is what I think are the lyrics: Where Poets Go (part 1): Take me to the place where poets go, when they take their final bows, and I promise I'll be ready on time, in fact I'm ready now.

But daily sense has taken leave of me, when you love, you will see it.

Someone 'll touch you in the morning, like a woman touches man and your life will fill with crystal light, and you'll finally understand, how a heart can go beyond it walls, deep and tall, always calling. (see next post for part 2.

  • as a person with hearing problems all of my life after recent ear surgery I find that after years of hearing songs I find words are sometimes different when I hear them again, for example, in this song Where Poets Go, I thought the lyrics were Take me to the place where poets go when they take their final vows, now I think I am hearing Take me to the place where poets go when they take their final bows.my hearing is around 50% of normal so if I try to decipher lyrics henceforth I'll try my best.

  • Haven't heard this in almost thirty years. Love this song, Qu'appelle Valley too, best songs from 'Sweet America'.

    Thanks very much for uploading!

  • I wish I knew what the lyrics were also...this is by far my favorite tune by her...the melody is what gets me. My long deceased mother used to play this song all the time, and that melody still haunts me. Maybe some other viewer could post the lyrics for this one. I would appreciate that myself. thanks for viewing my video. I plan on making videos for the rest of the songs on this, her best album.
