why do i have to keep telling people this:

triggers only get you a constant, clean, and even sound, the drummer still has to make each stroke. second, almost every major (newer (good triggers aren´t around for that long, e.g. Morbid Angel hasn´t triggered anything)) metal band's drummer (except for e.g. Dave Lombardo or Gene Hoglan, but they have their own sound technician) has their bass drums triggerd. this way, it is also a lot easier to get a good bass drum sound playing live.
