i'm not being racist...but it's probably because they're asian....they've never been great service providers....anyone ever been to fry's? also I worked for a korean lady once and she made me hang up on people on the phone, and yelled at me when I helped customers find what they were looking for.

bad customer service is due to bad management. Having worked retail, I know that arrogant managers play stupid games with employees that suck all the motivation out of them. A lot of people I worked with started out wanting to be helpful, but are told by managers their work sucks. This made them not want to help customers and just want to collect a check. If you're a good employee, they just fire you or force you to quit. If you're a bad employee, they promote you. Sadly this is sales today.
I guess managers treat employees bad because many of the employees are young and very smart and they are potential managers. So the manager prefers to be sorrounded by dumb guys that won't try to get his job.
That's what happens when you don't get payed enough to buy a loaf of bread. You do the amount of work taht you get payed for. If you get payed next to nothing in today's society, you do next to nothing....
Great video - similar to my daily experiences. Let me guess, when the retarded aloof teenager employees finally noticed you there (Other human beings exist? I'm not the center of the Universe?), they were not apologetic and were instead annoyed, surly, or indifferent. i'm not being racist...but it's probably because they're asian....they've never been great service providers....anyone ever been to fry's? also I worked for a korean lady once and she made me hang up on people on the phone, and yelled at me when I helped customers find what they were looking for.

bad customer service is due to bad management. Having worked retail, I know that arrogant managers play stupid games with employees that suck all the motivation out of them. A lot of people I worked with started out wanting to be helpful, but are told by managers their work sucks. This made them not want to help customers and just want to collect a check. If you're a good employee, they just fire you or force you to quit. If you're a bad employee, they promote you. Sadly this is sales today.

Great video - similar to my daily experiences. Let me guess, when the retarded aloof teenager employees finally noticed you there (Other human beings exist? I'm not the center of the Universe?), they were not apologetic and were instead annoyed, surly, or indifferent. Most employees are both oblivious and lacking any sort of manners or basic skills in relating to others. Is there some way to lower the minimum wage?

Sadly that is probably the norm a lot of places. They get paid so poorly, and they have no work ethic, they expect the world to revolve around them.
Were there displays to set up? probably. cleaning that needed doing? definatly. Customers that needed attention? obviously. White, black, asian, purple, green and polka dot, I've seen all types of people be total sacks of useless shit when they should be working.

Seems like anybody will do for any job these days. That's why customer service suck. You got millions of people that'll settle for what pays a bill, with no experience of good quality customer service. Just show up & leave, no matter what mood they're in. Companies don't have time to gather up brilliant employees for their businesses, that's why you got some short, fat, Mexican stud bitch taking your order at Pizza Hut.
