Never have I seen a movie or TV show so lame that the very COLOR just gave up and decided to walk off set in mid-production. *lol*
7:40 - Thanks for that. You're answering questions that NO ONE was asking. Wait, if the mouse knows not only what's happening, but also the motivations of these characters, why doesn't he just TELL Superpup what's going on instead of leaving him to figure out what's going on himself?
...Wait a minute, why am I actually thinking of the LOGIC of this thing?? ;P
well i find this hard to look at because off why this was made: the star dies and so you make him....a pup? have the 'chief' even call him idiot and all. they even made use of the same sets. its like the worst thing they could do, i mean its the office set Reeves was acting in, his chair, his table! this is really disgusting. yes I'm likely over thinking this but still a man dies and they replace his role with THIS. urgh!
so you get why i cant look at this :( (and not just because its crap)
the classy thing to do was to end the series, or if they really wanted to replace the actor for Superman (witch may not have worked in those years) and have a ''in memory of'' in the beginning of the first season.
nah lets just show that even a puppet can replace him! and be extra cheap and use the same sets, really this is just that: the cheapest way to continue the show. just urgh! :(
oh and the mouse is Jimmy Olsen, who on the original show would have helped Superman anyway he could. likely the best version of Olsen now i think about it, most others are just there.
0:18 It sounds as though when Deskmouse gets excited he starts saying "kittykittykittykitty!" That is not survival-ortiented behavior, marine!

Oh, come on people. This was obviously never meant as a replacement for Superman. This is high camp, and its very funny. I would watch this show.

The villain's sidekick is the greatest, most subtle, character portrayal I've ever had the honor of witnessing.

Is that mouse supposed to be Jimmy Olson.
He wears the loud plaid jackets like the kid did in the comic books
And he's only a little less annoying than Jack Larson
And Snapper Carr...

Now, why did it go to Black and White???? Very goofy, but the bulldog's funny, especially that bulging eyes shot from Part 1.....

Professor Sheepdip reminds me of my dog Alf who, unsurprisingly really, was an Old English Sheepdog. He wasn't evil though.
