@617k122 that was third to fourth speed, that's usually the fastest shift, I used to do that shift even faster when I had a Jetta 1.8 T pushing 18 psi.. Not the fastest, but good car, pretty fast for a 4 cyl.. I don't have it anymore :(

@museman007 Yeah it was clean for sure ! Just cause their little 4 cylinder Engines doesn't mean their not fast.. Some of the engines like 4g63t can be at 1200hp witch is amazing, But Of course theirs always faster lol.

@roflcopter720 Not always, but yea it usually is bad. Honestly I personally couldn't tell you, my guess is that it's just the motor and maybe a certain kind of turbo. That's just how the turbo be spoolin' in them precious cars. :)

@roflcopter720 wtf is flutter dump? That sound when he shifts is the blow off valve releasing pressure. It may not release it all so you get the "sneeze sound" followed by the "turkey gobble" which is hard to balance unless you get 2 bov's. One set soft, one hard. Yes alot of flutter will wear a turbo with time. As long as the bov does it's job...No biggie.

2JZ-GTE has forged internals. From my understanding, 1000whp has been reached with stock internals, 750-800 reliably.

GE internals are not forged and weaker

GTE has oil squirters GE does not

GTE has oil feed for Turbo

GTE and GE heads are different w. different exhaust and intake ports and head gaskets

GTE has different exhaust & intake manifolds

GTE has different/stronger pistons, rings, rods and bearings

@01BlazerX the GE and GTE uses the same crank,rods and block, the only diffrnce in internals is that the GTE uses lower comp pistons and thicker head gasket. the heads a somewhat oposite the GE has larger exhaust (i belive but not 100%) where as the GTE has larger intake.

@01BlazerX the oilfeed is made from the banjo bolt and oil return is pre drilled, so you just have to finish the hole. oil squirters i same shame, you don't really need them. ofcourse the GTE and GE has diffrent manifolds, one have turbos mounted on it!

@01BlazerX the boostwerx supra made ~1100hp on a spare 2JZ-GE block with 200k+ miles. belive me, the GE is just as though GTE if you lower compression, but if your building a 1000whp+ car you don't cheap out on some bad as internals no matter what. the bearings for the GE are also from the same drawer as the GTE.

It sounds good but he needs a tiny...tiny bit of shifting help..He's shifting it way to hard and he should learn how to rev tach. Supras sound better and the turbo will love him alot more if he gets on it and shifts smoothly with a rev tach before he shifts up and down. on the last couple passes he makes you can hear how hard hes shifting I'd say from 3rd to fourth and foreighn cars dont shift that hard hes gunna hurt the tranny I promise. I'd say it's mainly stock...for a Supra anyway.

That Supra sound of them 7m's, 1JZ, 2JZGTE's are just too hard to emulate. What a distinct beautiful sound they have. I could pick one out from 200 other motors.
