Herman Li has received best up and coming guitarist, once, that's it. John Petrucci has received god knows how many awards including best progressive guitarist, and been named one of the greatest metal and progressive guitarists of all time.

And I won't even get started on Myung, Portnoy and Rudess as they blow all of DF out of the water.

When its live, missing all of the studio editing and messy note clean-ups, its just noise...I've heard it first-hand as well (they came to OzzFest and almost got boo'd).

Herman Li is a decent shredder but can't repeat anything on his albums.

Shredders that blow Herman out of the water are Buckethead (who's shown he's much more than a shredder), Michael Angelo Batio, Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, and many more.

I'm not sure what's wrong with that! You rarely get to hear Myung (bass) whether live or on the record. Yet, true enough, you can't really hear Petrucci's solos in this song, which makes me tear up a bit. And I think the DRUMS are louder then ANYTHING!!!
