Tom Woods already pointed out how Cain supported the bailouts, tarp, Mitt Romney for president, didn't see the financial collapse coming, & chided people who believe in the free market. Ken MacMillan Philadelphia Pa.
...address the necessity of delegating certain necessary authorities to the state governments, and then address the taxation issue. There's a wall (big federal government) in the way of tax reform, and taking away their current system would take away a large portion of their ability to manipulate the US economy.
I believe men like Mr. Cain were meant to run for office, and if everyone running were more like him we'd still be experiencing the golden years of America. - Josh Jones, Atlanta, GA
I think Herman Cain would make a fantastic leader for our country. I am worried, however, that his position on tax reform may prevent him from reaching office. I am currently studying taxation as a career; in conjunction with that, let me say if the current system was thrown out, I wouldn't be worried, I'd just go find another accounting job. 9-9-9 seems feasible on the surface, but I am afraid that would just be too many special interests affected by this plan... -Josh Jones, Atlanta, GA
9-9-9 gives future congresses a national income tax, a corporate tax, & a national sales tax to raise to unlimited proportions. Before long we'll end up with 36-26-36. Not to mention that corporations push their taxes onto their customers which makes Cain's plan a 27% tax on every American. Democrats will love it because they've wanted a sales tax on top of the income tax for years. Cain supported the patriot act. Ken MacMillan Philadelphia Pa.
If I could vote for you, I would. I'll be praying for your victory! You seem like an awesome guy that knows what he's doing, and I think that is a very admirable trait. Woohoo fighting! Krista Halstead, Tigard, OR supports you.
I love how Jay Leno tried to trap him at the end with the Muslim comment. But, Mr. Cain handled himself very well and I think I know who I will be voting for in the election. Mike V. Wilkes-Barre, P.A.
Mr Cain always handles Himself well! he's a good man i get nothing but good vibes. i see alot of people mocking him. but if we are to make it he will be the gentleman leading it. for you that made the comment about government shouldn't create jobs and that we should. your so right Mr Cain has a plan to take government out of our way so we can do this. but the lazy Americans, i just don't think can handle that much freedom.
