  • ah,in this that means they are 18 years old,at korean age,so 16 international then,like Singapore :)

Or 18 international age and 20 korean age?

  • @blingblingshineshine In Korea, it only adds one year.So internationally it would be 17,and in Korea it would be 18.

  • us asians get identity cards at 18 before that we is anonymous :P

  • lolll Minho wants to use it at the movies ^o^ xD

  • how come like that? it suppose get iC went after birthday 12 years old?? hhuurrmmm???

  • i got mine at 12 too ^^

  • whats an identity card?....mian hae,,,,

  • i got at age 16 in singaporee

  • What's an identity card? o_O

  • @jenniicahh its a card that shows ur identity most people dont want to have it because the government use it to track you

  • @meriandana Oh. Thanks :] i wouldn't want to have it either.

  • I got my IC when I have my birthday after 12 years old in Malaysia. How came many country get their so late

  • @Renvina ever country have different rules thats why

  • @meriandana yeah, we only can change the picture of the ic when we are 18 years old which is not cool. Most of us look like a kid when we took our photos when we are 12

  • thenoblequran (Ctrl+Enter)

  • Here we get our identity cards when we're 16, I remember how exciting that was, we all felt like adults at the card ceremony...

  • National Identification cards are still a bit of a mystery to me as we don't have them in the U.S. People use Driver's Licenses usually for ID though if you don't drive you can get a state ID card instead. Social Security cards you can get as soon as you are born, so I find identity cards very interesting.

  • I got mine when I was 12( junior identity card) I 'll get another one when i'm 17(Senior identity card)

  • We will not have a map like this ... We get a card sortly after CPR have registered our name ... It says our doctor, personal number and address .... If we have to show photo ID, we can use our passports or a combination of such as a bus card and health card. As long as it tells the same information.

  • they are so cute...i had mine when i was 9 yrs old...had to get it so i would be able to travel

  • i fucking love minho's voice.

  • I just got my identity card too!! & I totally know how Key feels when he uses it!! Haha XD

  • I am confused, what are they used for, basic I.D. ? Like how the US has drivers license for I.D.?

  • is it a credit card?

  • I got mine when I was 19... I was late...

In the US, U can get an I.D card @ any age, most get them when they are in their teens, though

  • does the U.S. have identity cards?

  • o_O at 18? here we get it at 12. but i think thats bad cos i have to live with showing ppl my very young stupid expression :/

  • Eeer...errata corrige, I meant "it was cool" -.-

  • I'm italian and I could get mine when I was fifteen...it was school, with that I was even able to travel alone *____________*

  • really? different from malaysia though,we got our identity card when we 12......

  • yeah, in malaysia,we got ID cards at 12 and update them at 18.

  • in Indonesia we get an ID when we're 17

  • In Peru you get your identity card once you're born :D well, not EXACTLY after, but you can get one when you're a month or so :)

  • in france we got an ID card when we are arround 4 maybe less

  • Mine is 12 years old and I LOST IT.

Now I know why they make identification cards at the age of 18.

  • at malaysia u can got ur I/C when ur age 12 years old...........

  • got mines when i saw 2

  • wow here we got ID when turn 12 :D

  • In Romania and some other European countries it's 14.

  • wait so is a id card like a drivers licens? i dont understand :(

  • @bambi35461 an ID card is not a driver license. It's a Identification Card, to identify who you are and your age. stuffs like this. (:

  • @neveraperfectperson so im what is it in the US? wait is it a birth certificate?? :D

  • @bambi35461 haha, nope. it's not a birth cert. ID card is more like a pass. To verify your own status. Like when you go for a NC-16 or R21 movie, you have to show your ID card to prove that you're of age limit to watch that movie.

  • haha I got mine at 18... but here u can have your apprentice driver license and also the driver license at 16... so it's really not much, but, since I got it at 18, I feel a bit of a pride when ppl ask for my ID... I get like "here ^.^ I'm an adult :D Im 19 :D" lol, but college ID is soo much better, u get discount at... like... everything! so, I like college ID better...

  • i got mine at 15... :) but actually when you're still a student there's nothing much you can use your ic for. there are a lot of times i still prefer to use my student pass rather than ic because you can get student rates with the student pass. it wasn't that much of a big event for me.

  • i got mine when i was 14 xD

  • In italy it's 14

  • I will get mine when I turn 20 in 2 years time. Ha! ):

  • i got mine when i was 12 O.o

  • Haha, in Holland you can get one when youre 14 :']

  • @OttlovesJB hey are you also dutch??? Yay =D yeah in the netherlands it's at 14 but i got mine at 12 ^-^

  • @OttlovesJB whaaaa nederlandss ^^

  • @MMLoveII aaahhh, vet! :D

  • @OttlovesJB in Romania too, ^^

  • lol in australia, we just use our driver's licence as ID...or if we don't get one, we can apply for a Proof of Age card. before 18, we don't really need one (and we use concession cards to get student discounts and stuff)...

  • wow...isn't 12 years is a very early age to hav it?...here in mexico we got it at 18 years,!

  • wow u guys are fast.. 14, 15, 16... i got mine at 17. well idk if in korea 17 or 18 since they add 1 year to their actual age. if it is, then its the same in my country.

  • such simple pleasures :)

  • In Singapore we get it when we are around 15 years of age. I'm surprise the Koreans only get it when they are 18. That seems like...such a...long way to go, ha.

  • I got my identity card when I was 14. So weird that koreans get it this late. But I got to admit though; didn't really use it.

  • its surprising that they get their identity card so late, i got mine when i was 14

  • @kagome001 Its like an ID right? i got mine when i was about 12.

  • i get mine when i was 12....

it will be renewed when i achieve 18...

  • whoa so they get their identity cards only when they're 19? it's different from Singapore then, i got mine at 16..

  • I dunno if my ID-card is the same as the identity cards we're talking about.. but I got it when I became 14 o.O

  • @coolmusicgirls same here XD

  • @xiaoxi33 i thought korean is a bit late...in malaysia earlier...i got mine at 12...

  • @xiaoxi33 i got mine at 12 in malaysia

  • @xiaoxi33 Oh really ? I got mine when I was fifteen .

  • @xiaoxi33 LOL i thot 15. but that time they will take our thumbprint etc

wah taemin has to wait for 2 more yrs =X

  • @xiaoxi33 i thought its 15? haha

  • In Idol Maknae Rebellion, they had to say something about themselves that the others dont have. And Taemin said he already has his identify card while his hyungs doesnt..

And I dont really understand why?

    Anyone knows?

  • I think Taemin said he doesn't have his identity card yet, showing how young he is(or how old the members are).

  • No, I remember correctly he said that he already had his Identity card and even seemed so proud of it T"T

    That's what confused me

  • Hahaha, then I'm too sure then. Though I remembered he say he hasn't received it yet.

  • Yah, so I was misunderstood T"T

    Anw, thanks :D

  • You're welcome (:

  • in IMR during that game u're suppose to say something that will make the others have to admit the truth. taemin said "those who already have their identity cards". so jonghyun and onew put down their finger. (which is equivalent to losing in the game) taemin and key didnt have to put down their finger because they havent receive it.

  • @chic2222 Thanks a lot for correcting things!

But Key hasn't received it?? :O

  • The SHINee oppas were playing the 'hand of truth' game. Anws, the game requires each prson to admit any kind of facts abt thmselves and each othr. If the fact is true, you hve to bent one finger. At the end of the game, the person w/ the mst fingers bent, lose. While the person w/ the least fingers bent, wins. So, the reason why taemin mntion that he already has his identity card is so tht he don't need to bent one of his fingers. Thus, he will have a higher chance of winning. Hope this help! :D

  • can somebody explain to me why are they a year older in korea.minho was born in 1991.he's suppose to be 18 but in his profile it's stated that he's 19.same goes to taemin who was born in 1993 but he's already 17.

  • I know, I didnt understand it at first either but after some researching I now know that I Korea, when you are born they belive you are already ONE year old. So thats why they are one year older :) Hope you get it =)

    Greetings from Sweden=)

  • @taeminSHINeeminho

in korea they count the year you are in your mothers stomach

thats why they are a year older than they are in america or australia as they do not count the year in your mothers stomach

  • @taeminSHINeeminho

It's because in Korea they calculate your age from when you're conceived, not when you're born. You're birthday's the same, but you're age tends to be 9 months (or so) older. That's why Koreans say they're a year older than what they are.

  • HAHA. So cute. It's like first getting a driver license...sort of.

  • what age did the koreans get their identity card? i thought at the age of 12? or are they using student pass first then identity card? :)

  • it's actually stated in the video. the translator included a note about it. but koreans can register for their identity card once they are 18 years old. (: and yes. they use their student pass before that.

  • it's in the video?? i must be blind!! thanks anyway! :D

  • @RaptorSubs Cool! We do that in Singapore too! Heehee! But we get our identity cards at 16 though! XD
