I know these are great detectors but I don`t think I could listen to that noise for long! can it be tuned to make a noise only on a find?

@moleman1961 I have a Audio Amp on the vid cam so it will record, it's not that loud in the headphones, infact I can just hear the threshold..joe

I always enjoy watching your videos! I'm saving up for a minelab excalibur ii and was wondering if it has an external speaker. Does it have an external speaker or do you just have the volume on the headphones turned up pretty loud for the video? Its not an issue for me if it doesn't, I was just curious.

@raverbabykel - Anyone in this hobby cares! Leaving holes or other signs only gets some people mad and those people complain and we can't detect there anymore. I know he said they were filled. I'm just saying!

This was one of first videos so what you hear is what the cam was recording not what I was hearing in the Head phones as far as the volume...I have since learned how to adjust the sound down so it is not as irritating for the viewier. Watch a few of the newer videos and you will see the improvement...thanks Joe/Obn

I have the sensitivity set low 1 to 2 o'clock, Threshold is very low but smooth and consistent,This increases the stability of the Excal in AM. With this the excal brings in some of the faints murmurs in AM, sometimes I have to stop and backtrack to see if I heard anything, And with Doc's treasure screamer to amplifi the audio signal the Threshold is still low but just being amped up to were I can hear the faint Murmurs . I set the Amp at 1/2 turn, more can distort the sound. Grey Ghost Help 2
