  • very nice... is you flute pretty easy to fill with air? i've been playing whistles for a while and have wanted to get a wooden flute, and gilles instruments sound great from what i've heard...

  • nice

  • It's wonderful. I like Irish flute's sound

P.S. Che Guevara on 1:01 made me laugh))

  • Awesome ornamentation! Great playing there!

  • Hello Friend

I would feel flattered if you saw my videos of Celtic music

    a greeting! DrkFlt

  • Hey, nice job! I've heard this tune with quite a different variation and I also play it quite different but yours sounds really good. How did you sync the two?(guitar and flute). BTW sorry I haven't posted a video in a while.

  • Hey, love this and Last of the Starr's Waltz, hope to see more of you playing, in future, can I ask what make is your flute?

  • @WhistlingReiver

Hi! I will upload some more videos soon, so if you subscribe you will get them eventually. The flute I play is a Gilles Lehart 5 key in D. Awesome flute indeed. Do you play flute or whistle as well? Post some videos : )

  • I now see the reference to the make and model of flute...thanks! - Aaron

  • 1:02

  • Outstanding!!

  • That is one of my favourite jig, and you played iy very well!

  • sounds lovely, I am wondering the "twiddly bits", do you use the tonguing technique or ornaments?

    Nice flute as well!

  • @greensoulo

I use ornaments; cuts, taps and rolls. My tonguing technique is not good enough, and I usually prefer normal ornamentation over tonguing.

  • great job! the flute sounds awesome

  • very cool...

liking the tune. liking the haircut to ghehe looks better on ya i think..

thanks for sharing another cool tune...

  • Great stuff! Thanks for sharing...

  • oh! I also wanted to say...you sent me a video of Bukkene Bruse a while ago, and i don't know if i thanked you. I really liked it and started listening to more, and swedish music as well.

  • beautiful, the twiddly bits sound so good! sound quality is awesome too. just wondering, why do you have pictures this time instead of a video?

  • @3rdDerivative

I don't have access to a pc with a firewire connector at the moment, so I will not be able to transfer anything from my camcorder. That's why I asked my brother to take some photographs during my recording session. I figured it was better than a pitch black background : )

  • Awesome flute playing, loved it!

  • Awesome reedy Irish tone. Nice breathing too, it's different from other versions I've heard.

  • @AchingOvaries

Yeah, I tend to learn tunes properly first, but I usually end up altering them and shaping them to be my own interpretation after a while. So I guess this is my interpretation of Whelan's Jig. Thanks for the complement regarding tone.

  • Awesome playing, and great sound. Keep `em coming...

  • lol

i was going to say something about the hair but someone already did =P

    And you improved =D

  • That was great!

--But you cut your hair!!! Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ! =/
