Hi. I know it may be personal choice but I replaced the Dimarzios in my So-Cal with a set of chrome covered Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell pickups. What a difference, it just sounded more alive than stock. I'm not sure if it is true but I was also told the stock Dimarzios Charvel use for these aren't up to the quality of the pickups made a few years ago. I was told this by someone who has used Dimarzios for years.
dude don't be sensitive, i'm just saying maybe a little less flash for the video,and more on tone and style.Play cleaner.........and practice scales slower to faster.
Listen. You could of said that the first time instead of being mean. I am not sensitive, and your comment doesn't phase me. I'm just bugged by people putting harsh comments, rather than CC. And I am sure Peelick, could show me. There are thousands of players better than me, that doesn't mean anything. I am where I am and thats that. I will improve.
Anyway, as for clean. I can play clean. Scales. I can play them.
In the end, just like I said, this video was just me jacking around.

impressive. I really want one of those charvels. I've been looking for a good super strat for a while and those seem like the answer. Word to the wise: playing guitar is not about who can play the fastest or divebomb the lowest or pinch harmonizing the highest. Someone will always be able to "outplay" you, but if it is truly about the music, you will always be loved by the peoples.
thank god...someone finally knows something about different styles and about music itself...thanks for posting that...im tired of people saying because someone can shred that they are a god and someone who cant is a noob guitarist...it depends on what they want to do and their style...
How good of a musician you are all has to do with how musical you are. I enjoy musicians who play well more than musicians who play fast but not very melodically. And I agree that it isn't about the pinch harmonics and the divebombs. Those just embellish the song or solo. In this video, I did not have the intention of showing off or trying to seem cool with fast licks and divebombs. I just wanted to show off the new guitar that could do divebombs ;).
